So I thought I'd start a thread to try and gather everything we know about the girl's next single release. Also, since interest in '30 Days' has pretty much bombed I could see this dropping quite soon! It is apparently called 'You Don't Care'.

Someone has also created a wikipedia page stating a 12th August release. A B-Side called "Can't You Help Me", the song lasting 3:47. Genre = dance pop. Obviously take all this stuff as lies since their is no sources given, however, it could be someone on the inside trying to give us some information!

It has also been described as "a banger" by people who have heard it. Others have said it's their best single yet.

It sounds.... AMAZING[/loon]

Probably none of it is true, but I do hope that it's someone 'on the inside' leaking info because the songs sounds amazing! Ester Dean  But by Alex Kidd, do they mean Alex the Kid? Alex Kidd is a 1980s Sega video game character

It also seems really weird to me how it would say "So far there have been five remixes recorded for the song however only two are allowed to have inclusion on the official EP" if this person wasn't in the know!

LOL it probably does. Anyway, Ester Dean would be amazing! Would be fitting for their first US single, maybe she could provide some guest vocals too!

August 12th is a bit far away considering '30 Days' was released in the middle of May and will be LONG gone from the charts by the time this is released.

"The song has so far been haled by critics as a more modern-dance related Sound Of The Underground, meaning that this could be their most successful single to date. 'You Don't Care' has received positive reviews overall and has been described as an 'undoubtable floorfiller' and should definitely be their first US release."

Hard to believe with no sources, though.

The person who created this page may be the same person who changed their chart performance on the 30 Days page to number 1 on all charts.
The Saturday's success seems to be dwindling. 30 days hasnt done great considering it's not on any of their albums. Also, the singles from the last album didnt sell as well as previous singles have done.

:( I wish The Satz had at least one more big era.

SAME.

I'd be happy with a 300k album to be honest! Won't happen though, I'm fearful that this new song could be their best but because of the flops they have had may be blacklisted on Radio1/Capital.

Radio 1 seem to always playlist them (expect My Heart Takes Over?)

It's Capital that's the problem. If it's a huge banger (like AFU) then maybe they'll get on board? They did playlist AFU (although it wasn't played as much as Higher and Missing You).

I just don't understand why they choose such dreadful singles.

I mean, they've recorded stuff like White Lies, Faster, Get Ready Get Set, Puppet, One Shot, Wordshaker, Here Standing, Lose Control, Chasing Lights, Fall, Keep Her and Turn Myself In and yet they've released dullards like 30 Days, Missing You, Forever Is Over, If This Is Love, My Heart Takes Over and Issues as singles? No wonder nobody is buying their albums, when you look at their singles discography they have very little highlights (Higher, Up, Ego, All Fired Up and I guess Notorious was popular).

LOL. Issues sold FANTASTICALLY and helped the album sell a bucketload!

Capital actually played My Heart Takes Over, Radio1 HUGLY SUPPORTED IT. C-B-A-A-A was it's run!

I must have just imagined that. I think My Heart Takes Over would have been a much bigger hit if it was released with the Rokstone Mix, it's very reminiscent of Don't Hold Your Breath (Nicole Scherzinger).

'Issues' was a bad single choice? WHAT? It's one of their most consistent runs inside the top 10, isn't it? (With very decent sales too!) So to say it was a rubbish single choice is a bit, WTF? I understand you may not personally like the song, but just because you don't like a particular song, doesn't mean it wouldn't do well. 'Work' should have been replaced with 'Lies', though.

Well that was a disappointing thread bump.

Currently in Dorothy Perkins and they're playing Ladykiller; I didn't recognise it at first and thought it may be this new song. Loool :)

EDIT: Sorry Neil
