And I agree with annoyance towards Jessie too. I'm actually a fan, she has vocal talent, is a great popstar and seems a nice girl - but she's so irritating! She really does seem to value over-powered vocal runs over anything else, and whilst sometimes that can show an incredible voice, I usually prefer an understated voice like Alys, Emily (still pissed Moni beat her!) etc.

This comment makes no sense to me at all. She even claimed that she would have picked Emily over Moni because she felt as though her voice was more special despite being less loud and doing less tricks than Moni's. Also she suggested Tom pick Alys over Leanne in their battle, despite Leanne having more power because of Alys' "tone".

What a insult.

Erm... I was joking?

I can't... wot?

Well, let's be honest, she doesn't have the biggest personality out there. :kink:

 She's so cute though. <3 And have you heard White Flag? CLASSIC.

Renewed for a 3rd series. Hopefully the first thing they'll do to prepare for it is sack Jessie J.
They won't. She's probably the second most profitable artist for the BBC after Emeli Sande.

Even if Jessie J is still one of the biggest artists in the UK right now (and we'll have to wait to see how her new material performs to be sure of that), that doesn't necessarily mean she's an asset to the show. X Factor having the frontman of one of the most successful British bands ever hasn't stopped their ratings going into freefall. Just because people like someone's music, that doesn't mean they like their personality and want to watch them on TV every week.

Replace Jessie with Dido, PLZ.

I can see why people think Jessie is irritating, personally she's my favourite coach as she knows what she's talking about and she actually criticizes the contestants to help them unlike the others.

If Jessie was replaced with someone with a boring personality and not very current I'd probably stop watching all together.

Oh, that's great news! The battles weren't as fantastic overall as I had hoped (mainly due to how long they dragged on for), but I'm really looking forward to the new knockout and live stages. I don't particularly think any of the coaches need to go just yet - sure, they all have their flaws, but the chemistry between them is still good. If one of them were to go, it'd have to be Danny - Jessie and Will are by far the best critics.

Here's the schedule for the upcoming week:

Saturday 1st June - 8:30-9:40

Sunday 2nd June - 7:15-8:30

Friday 7th June - 7-9:00 and 9:30-10:00

Not the biggest Jessie fan, but I completely understand her reaction to Liam not being chosen. Easily my favourite audition

I've read spoilers for who's through, I won't post them because I know that even if you don't want to know the temptation to highlight can be too much and I don't want to ruin it for anybody!

But my feelings are (I'll spoiler these too just in case, I won't mention names though)

that my interest in this series has gone RIGHT DOWN. I literally like about 3 of the finalists.

Happy with the finalists revealed so far, aside from the dire and dull Mike Ward. Joseph has an amazing voice even if he isn't my kind of thing, and I love Alys' tone! Leanne is just mindblowing with her vocals, she seems a bit more marketable and current than Leanne Mitchell though so she hopefully would get higher than 500 copies sold of her debut if she were to win  Leah is very very current and refreshing, she could break the 'curse' and actually be successful (although this is The Voice so hai #38 debut single). Her Lovin' You was so so good though! Not a copycat version as it often is with that song.

Moni was absolutely AWFUL, it's a wonder he got anywhere near this far :manson: He is oddly very attractive though, I watched him intently but on mute after about 20 seconds

Tom's last 3 was the way I predicted it, but nothing sticks out from his team.

Will's team I was amazed he booted the lads out and kept the girls, I didn't think Cleo was that good to be honest Lem was better. But Leah was amazing with her version of Loving You that performance was flawless, and was surprised he picked Leanne with Alone but that was the best from the first batch. I do think Leah could actually go all the way, she is just different.

The odds are so erratic with this, Leah is favourite to win now at 5/1 (Liam was the favourite at the time of his axing!) but that's understandable given tonight's amazing performance. Understandably, at the minute the odds tip in favour of those who we know are through!
