Glad to see Payphone heading for number 1
I personally wished that Cheryl would get a second week at #1 but I'm thrilled that she was able to get at least a week. Do you guys think she will have a couple weeks in the top ten or plummet?

She certainly won't plummet this week since the album version will be out too. I think she'll stick around, the song is much catchier than Promise This.

Lots of songs manage more than a couple of extra weeks in the top 10 and still get accused of plummeting anyway (e.g. Twilight).

Looking at her many weeks her previous hits spent in the top 10:

Heartbreaker - 8 weeks

Fight For This Love - 7 weeks

Parachute - 6 weeks

3 Words - 3 weeks

Promise This - 3 weeks

The Flood - 0 weeks

I think Call My Name should mange 3+ weeks in the top 10 easily tbh.

Payphone  to #1! :(

Call My Name :left: at #2

Whistle  to #3

Are you sure Call My Name even left #1?

1. Payphone (feat. Wiz Khalifa) - Maroon 5

9. Black Heart - Stooshe

I'm so thrilled Black Heart is already top 10!! :o :o

Do you think they'll put it up to 99p soon, or will they keep it 59p the whole time?

Also, does Black Heart appear in that section on iTunes with all the 59p songs?

I've been keeping an eye at the iTunes chart and 'Call My Name' was #1 until Maroon 5 took over her. I don't think Flo Rida went to #1 on iTunes, only on the Kworb Popularity numbers.

Chris Brown releases his new song next week - if that gets to #2 and Payphone is still #1 that would seriously be a contender for worst top 2 ever, they're my 2 least favourite songs of the year so far :arrr: I doubt Chris will get that high though and will.i.am will probably chart ahead of him anyway.

(Also, we could have Maroon 5 with a #1 single at the same time as Justin Bieber getting a #1 album if Cheryl Cole can't stop the latter. Insert manson here).

Stooshe for #1 please <3

Possibly the first thing you've ever said in this thread that makes sense :smoke:

This week's important 59p songs are:

Timebomb - Kylie

Princess of China - Coldplay and Rihanna

Back in Time - Pitbull

That's why Princess of China should still be Top 10 this week.

Somebody tell Kylie fans to get Timebomb to peak higher!

Prepare yourself then, because Bieber is going to be #1 next week and nothing is stopping Maroon 5

I would LOVE for that to happen!!

Well, if they'd release a CD single...

Cheryl will kick the foetus's butt in the album chart!

Can't believe "Payphone" will hit #1 while "Moves Like Jagger" couldn't. Although the awfulness of "Payphone" proves that I was only backing "MLJ" for Christina's part alone. :D

1.0000 Payphone

0.9625 Whistle

0.9375 Call My Name

Cheryl will kick the foetus's butt in the album chart!

It's Bieber, he has a legion of stans.
