June 17, 201214 yr The thought of Loreen and Salem Al Fakir being in the top 40 simultaneously this week is too bizarre to consider :o My retro faves; 2011 3- THE A TEAM- Ed Sheeran (57,259) Should have been a #1! 4- GIVE ME EVERYTHING- Pitbull Ft Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer (57,259) 6- RIGHT THERE- Nicole Scherzinger (41,324) 7- MR SAXOBEAT- Alexandra Stan (38,995) 9- PARTY ROCK ANTHEM- LMFAO Ft Goonrock & Lauren Bennett (30,300)* 10- I’M INTO YOU- Jennifer Lopez Ft Lil Wayne (24,401) 2007 1- UMBRELLA- Rihanna Ft Jay Z (39,038) 3- DO YOU KNOW (THE PING PONG SONG)- Enrique Iglesias (20,843) 5- REAL GIRL- Mutya Buena (11,708) 6- THE GIRLS- Calvin Harris (11,000)* 8- BEAUTIFUL LIAR- Beyonce & Shakira (10,749) 9- NEVER AGAIN- Kelly Clarkson (10,507) Limp. My December was such a great album, albeit with admittedly few likely hit singles. But this was b-side quality... 2002 2- LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT- Kylie Minogue (80,000) Great, although I bought it for the Blue Monday/CGYOOMH mash-up on the b-side 3- GET OVER YOU/ MOVE THIS MOUNTAIN- Sophie Ellis-Bextor (45,000) 4- HERO- Chad Kroeger Featuring Josey Scott (39,000) By far the best thing Chad Kroeger's ever done, not that it's got much competition 7- THE LOGICAL SONG- Scooter (27,000)* 8- JUST A LITTLE- Liberty X (24,000)* 1997 1- MMMBOP- Hanson (86,000) 2- I WANNA BE THE ONLY ONE- Eternal Featuring BeBe Winans (53,000) 3- TIME TO SAY GOODBYE- Sarah Brightman & Andrea Bocelli (45,000) 4- FREE- Ultra Nate (42,000) 5- CLOSER THAN CLOSE- Rosie Gaines (38,000)* 8- COCO JAMBO- Mr President (29,000)*
June 17, 201214 yr Author 2002 2- LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT- Kylie Minogue (80,000) Great, although I bought it for the Blue Monday/CGYOOMH mash-up on the b-side I think to be honest a LOT of people did that- me included! :o
June 17, 201214 yr Never Again in the retro  Still one of my top 20 of all time and in my Kelly top 5, I really don't get the hate for it!
June 17, 201214 yr Love the subtitle! It's been a year since The A-Team! :o And Hero really wasn't that bad for Chad Kroeger, although How You Remind Me was far superior. It has a certain.. charm.
June 17, 201214 yr I remember listening to that 2007 chart show and being gutted that the White Stripes only just missed number 1 (this was before I found Buzzjack and relied on ChartShow TV to show me the mids!) - thankfully time has made me realise that it was possibly the worst thing they've released, and it wasn't close at all! Edited June 17, 201214 yr by C.W
June 17, 201214 yr Author Why is The Chain charting now? It was released in 1992. It's a condensed version of the original box set- or remastered, one of the two.
June 17, 201214 yr I only JUST realised that it's Father's Day sales pushing the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds back up the albums chart in the mids (and I assume that's what's making Black Sabbath's GH from last week go up too?) A lot of the new releases are also clearly aimed at that market. We should see Amy Macdonald outpeaking her second album, that's a bit unexpected as the single did absolutely nothing - well, it picked up during the last week and should go top 100 today, but before that it had completely bombed compared to the top 50 hit 'Don't Tell Me That It's Over' off her last album. Anyway, hoping to see Coldplay and Rihanna at #4 or maybe even #3 today and also hoping to see Tyler James hold on to the top 40. Pretty boring week otherwise. Trey Songz keeping a comfortable top 30 position would be great too, never thought we'd see him in the chart unless he pulled out a big feature (or was a feature on a big artist). And we'll also have Big Sean in the top 40 for the first time, albeit as a Bieber feature. All good.
June 17, 201214 yr Today it's Scott Mills ! :) And next week there will only be one hour of the chart show.

June 17, 201214 yr Damn! I predicted Dark Side at #41. <_< I'm pleased she is top 40 though. On the other hand, I predicted 7 brand new entries. Edited June 17, 201214 yr by Jason
June 17, 201214 yr YES at Kelly scraping the top 40, even if it's probably going to be a big flop beyond this.
June 17, 201214 yr Brilliant to see 'Dark Side' at least going top 40 - I was hoping this could be another biggish hit for her but ah well. Her second best song after 'Mr. Know It All'.
June 17, 201214 yr Glad Dark Side managed to scrape in, but I wish it had gone at least top 20, I don't know why it flopped. :(
