Cheryl has jumped from 22 yesterday to no.2 on Amazon now. Justin down to 10.

I'll be PMSL if Cheyl beats Bieber by a very tight margin. :P

At this stage i would be pretty confident Justin Bieber will be the album number 1.

Wonderful sales for Marroon 5.

Itunes:

#1 Cheryl

#3 Bieber

Amazon

#2 Cheryl

#11 Bieber

It's all depends on physical sale, but I think little girls a.k.a. beliebers bought in first day of sale, so now Cheryl has a huge chance to sell more than Bieber.

Oh my God the sales gap between the two is gonna be tiny isn't it. I will die if Cheryl misses out by a couple hundred copies (or even less!). COME ON CHEZZA.

But little girls might also be waiting for there mum or dad to get payed and buy it this weekend aswell...

Anyway i hope Cheryl gets it but its going to be very close.

Justin Bieber is being sold for £13 on Amazon, it's hardly much of an achievement if she manages to limp ahead of an album that's selling 2 1/2 the price.

There must still have been enough buying in 2nd/3rd/4th day of sale to help him hold on all the way until today.

I believe Justin will hold on now (don't fall at the final hurdle) but it'll be close and it seems I'm one of only a couple who saw Justin as a threat from the start though I also thought they'd both be selling a lot more.

I'd say Justin has this in the bag most kids would have been at school this week so they'l be shopping on saturday, cheryl may be catching him now but i'd say his saturday sales will be good enough to keep him at the top.
In amongst all the fighting for #1 album status, nobody seems to be overly concerned about the pitifully low sales, which are FAR more important.
The CD which was being referred to above my post (#2 vs #11) is £13. Cheryl is £4.99.

Beliebers have an opportunity to buy JB's album in the same price as Cheryl's albums.

He means the CD verison which people are comparing in the charts,

Cheryl's CD is £4:99 @ number 2

Justin's CD is £13 @ number 11

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Believe-Justin-Bie...=zg_bs_music_11

So there is a HUGE different in price.

EDIT:

Fans like to buy the CD'S more then downloads :)

My point was you can't read anything into a chart comparison where one album is selling for around 35% of the price of another. That fact than an album which is £13 is so high is quite an achievement given that anyone with a brain who wants a physical copy of it won't be buying it from Amazon.

£4.99 for Chevy's album, why have they cut the price so much already?

Carrie's album has got plugged on TV in the TV ads, I should imagine the album could stay top 10, if it keeps getting plugged on the TV ads.

To encourage more sales. It's like the 59p effect, only applying that to albums. Considering it's Cheryl's first week of release, the fact the record company have decided to reduce the cost so much shows that they are desperate for a no. 1 album. However, it's a clever tactic and just like 59p tracks, it does help sell more.

Also if Cheryl doesn't get to no. 1 this week with her album, I don't see why the album can't get to no. 1 when the next single is released. There have been so many times when an artist has released a new single from an album already in the charts, and said album returns to no. 1 in the album chart.

It's as if Cheryl's record company have already regarded this album as a failure because Justin Bieber's album is outselling it.

You can buy both albums for same price, but beliebers prefer more expensive version.

 You have no idea what you're writing. It's an Amazon promotion, this has nothing to do with Cheryl's record label.

It's been reduced on iTunes as well though?

EDIT: Oh wait, no it hasn't. How is it suddenly back at #1 on iTunes then? I assumed it had been reduced to get there :o
