June 22, 201214 yr Before Monday, I thought Cheryl had the #1 album in the bag! JB has been ahead of Cheryl on pretty much every retailers chart though so I guess it was inevitable. Biggest shock of the week is Carrie Underwood still top 10! So happy :D Glad to see Kelly is also doing well.
June 22, 201214 yr Author Will we get any sale info today? You never can tell with MW, at the moment there's nothing, if I see any I post the info ASAP, unless someone beats me to it.
June 22, 201214 yr You never can tell with MW, at the moment there's nothing, if I see any I post the info ASAP, unless someone beats me to it. Thank you Martin :D
June 22, 201214 yr Author And we have some sales info from MW just adding with the update. ooops no sales info for the top 2 albums :nocheer:
June 22, 201214 yr AMillionLights and @JustinBieber are SO close in sales CHeryl's fanpage. Cheryl is #1 on itunes. :yahoo:
June 22, 201214 yr Midweek Charts update: 100,000 and counting for Payphone Cole’s single is now down to two on the midweeks, although she remains a contender to top the UK artist albums chart this weekend. Her Polydor set A Million Lights has been behind fellow new release Believe by Def Jam/Mercury’s Justin Bieber all week and that remained the situation up until midnight on Thursday night. I wish they wouldn't tease us like this - we want to know if she's closing, or dropping back! :(
June 22, 201214 yr Boo, No album sales! Suppose we will have to wait until sunday to see her gets the #1!
June 22, 201214 yr Author Just a reminder guys, the Sunday Chart show is stripped down to an hour from 6pm, only the top 10 singles (with the Top 5 albums) will get played in full on Sunday due to a Roadshow been held on Sunday at Hackney, the chart show topic will start later than usual, probably around 5pm-ish yet to be confirmed, during the wait I must stress out not to post any spoilers, I know its frustrating, its out of our hands.
June 22, 201214 yr Justin at #1 and has climbed in the singles chart from Wednesday. :D And Carrie still holding at #10! Fingers crossed she stays there.
June 22, 201214 yr Great sales for Maroon 5. The crazy thing is moves like jagger never sold that much in any week during its chart run but this single will probably only sell at best half the amount of total sales for their last single. Edited June 22, 201214 yr by slowdown73
June 22, 201214 yr MW being a bit mischievious there giving no indication of change in the top2 albums. I'm thinking Cheryl might be gaining now but it'll be too close to call for Sunday i think. The £4.99 convinced one more buyer though - me. Not expecting it to be amazing but the single is decent and i'd possibly end of buying it anyway, but i suspect after this week it wouldn't be as cheap as £5 for 6-12 months again anyway so i've went for it. I wonder that a few people won't think similarly and pick it up now (most people have £5 in their disposable income these days - not much more than a cup of coffee and cheaper than a sandwich many places!) Maroon 5 doing well on the singles and their iTunes pop bar is still impressively large (Adam Levine has been telling people that for years :kink: ) think their sales will run close to Cheryl's last week
June 22, 201214 yr On the album chart, Justin Bieber's Believe remains in front of Cole's A Million Lights, which sits close behind at two.Digital Spy Amazon DOWNLOADS don't count towards the charts GAM Is that a true  Edited June 22, 201214 yr by Tommy
June 22, 201214 yr Author Digital Spy That's still vague as MW's description, doesn't really tell us any different. :( And Amazon's downloads do count. edit:
June 22, 201214 yr Cheryl has jumped from 22 yesterday to no.2 on Amazon now. Justin down to 10. Looks like the large price drop has helped!
June 22, 201214 yr That's still vague as MW's description, doesn't really tell us any different. :( And Amazon's downloads do count. edit: But if they are ,,close'' and Cheryl ,,remains a contender''' imho it means that Justin's lead is less than 3263. And thanks for explaining about Amazon's downloads. Edited June 22, 201214 yr by Tommy
June 22, 201214 yr This is going to be bloody close  We finally have an exciting chart battle! :cheer: I agree with the fella above though that I didn't even consider Cheryl not making number 1 with her album, one of the shocks of the year in my opinion although there are still the weekend sales to consider...
June 22, 201214 yr At this stage i would be pretty confident Justin Bieber will be the album number 1. Wonderful sales for Marroon 5.
