Been watching most of this Hackney stuff all night, and I've just been massively jealous of everyone there all night. Seeing Minaj & KanJay live would've been incredible.

EDIT: Okay, I'm first post so erm - Chris Brown for #1.

You should say it how Nicki says it in Fly "Yankee Stadium with Jayz and Kan-yayz".

Chris Brown to flop horribly. We can't keep ENCOURAGING him to make such awful music :arrr:

will.i.am for #1. It'll blatantly just be Payphone again though. Will be interesting to see how Taio and Pitbull do, I think this has had a lot more radio support (at least from R1) than 'Hangover' did, but does ANYONE care about Taio any more? I wouldn't be surprised if 'There She Goes' misses the top 40. Jason Derülo probably heading for a big flop as well.

So many people I hate this week. Death 2 Chris, Jason and Taio, severe injury to Will please.
It's going to be all dance-pop songs entering the chart this week. Undefeated (if it makes it), Pound the Alarm, This is Love, Don't Wake Me Up and There She Goes. Plus, Flo Rida is releasing like 10 of them, but I doubt any will make the top 40. Hopefully No Church in the Wild can get top 40 and save us.

Ooh! I agree with all of this! :D

Don't Wake Me Up is incredibly awful, literally one of the worst songs I've ever heard - I'd rather listen to Euro Neuro! 'This Is Love' is much better than 'THE' and I hope it gets to #1 purely for Eva's amazing chorus! And how Taio, Pitbull and Jason do will be very interesting, especially the former and the latter.

I do wish Chris Brown should stop doing europop songs. Beautiful People was good, Forever was okay, but Yeah 3x and Turn Up the Music were AWFUL. :puke: And his new song with David Guetta is pretty "meh" aswell (and it's started getting significant airplay now, but it's not in the top 100 on iTunes yet, so it's a good sign that it won't be massive). Don't Wake Me Up is better than Turn Up the Music in my opinion, but at the same time, that's not saying much.

BUT OF COURSE YOU WOULD! http://www.moopy.org.uk/forums/images/smilies/disco.gif

Ugh at this week in general. I might like will.i.am and Eva though, I just haven't heard it yet. And at least Chris Brown has produced something that's not the worst record of the year for this single.

will.i.am's song is co-produced by Steve Angello from Swedish House Mafia, but it sounds to me like he did most of it tbh.

will.i.am (ft. Eva Simons) - This Is Love

No.1

Chris Brown - Don't Wake Me Up

No.3

Jason Derulo - Undefeated

No.13 - Normally this would be a contender for No.1, but there doesn't seem to be much hype around it.

Taio Cruz (ft. Pitbull) - There She Goes

No.35

Top 3 does look hard to predict

If the new entries don't do much, I reckon Whistle could sneak to the top.

Great to see NIP and NCITW climbing  Hope to see all things Kanye continue to climb throughout the week!

So much generic forgettable songs being released this week :drama: Just because they're doing euro/dance pop, they don't all have to be incredibly lazy and safe. Dance music can be daring and original but these 'artists' just don't get it :(

I think Jason Derulo could have done very well indeed had his song been properly promoted and supported. I don't think he's an artist that can just release on the hype of name. (Although he has had a fair few good hits).

I don't mind the Will.I.Am song, but that's only for the chorus by Eva, everything else about it is bad IMO. :(

That Chris Brown song is terrible. I love autotune but it's just too much and hurts my ears  . Even worse than Blah Blah Blah by Ke$ha although I loved the trashiness of it. Beautiful People was great but I agree with Eric in the way that Yeah 3x and Turn Up The Music were terrible. He seems to be reclaiming attention again from Jason Derulo (who claimed it from him in the first place)

I'm not even interested on hearing the new Taio one. I liked Higher and Dirty Picture but the most recent two have been too generic and I can't even remember what they sound like.

20. This Is Love (featuring. Eva Simons) - will.i.am

I agree. I think it's because it's just SO easy to get hits with that type of music, that they simply don't have to try. And good examples of non-generic dance/electro/euro-pop songs recently imo are Greyhound, Call Me Maybe and Sexy and I Know It (SAIKI, I'm not saying it's a masterpiece, I don't really like it, but it definitely stands out from all the others, and they tried something different!).

But I've noticed a lot of those types of songs have been under-performing recently, so we'll see what happens with these in the long run. I don't see why people would want to buy some of those songs, because if they want to listen to a song like that, surely they can just turn on their phone and play I Gotta Feeling or Now You're Gone or Party Rock Anthem. I think these will stop selling so well soon.

18. This Is Love (feat. Eva Simons) - will.i.am

159. Don't Wake Me Up - Chris Brown

MASSIVE debut for Will! :o Sales of around 170k? Looking possible :o

Out of the new releases I'd want him to get number 1.

How I'd like to see the new releases:

01. Will.I.Am.

02. Jason DeRulo

03. Chris Brown

04. Taio Cruz (Doesn't count because I don't think I've heard this.)

17. This Is Love (feat. Eva Simons) - will.i.am

124. Don't Wake Me Up - Chris Brown
