Which type of dance did the Spice Girls perform with, in their videos and at their concerts? - Was it contemporary or jazz?
  • 2 weeks later...

Melanie C and Victoria will BOTH be at the 2018 Global Gift Gala in London this evening.

Melanie will also be performing.

Maybe it's unlikely, but it'd be nice if they were pictured together!

So happy that they are friends still.

There is always so much rumous about how they all hate each other. I think they are grown up women and they can obviously support each other, even when one of them says that she is not up to continuing. That is the essence of the Spice Girls in a nutshell: support women, in whatever capacity they come.

Cute and I'm glad everything is cool between them , Mel B is just childish sometimes but that the way she is LOL

Got my childhood Spice Girls collection out of the loft and decided to film it to celebrate the reunion :D feel free to check it out if you want to!

Your default picture for the video is already filling me with collector's jealousy before I press play! :kink: Really looking forward to viewing this, Jade.

Can anyone clarify this article for me?

The Spiceworld Tour grossed $60 million dollars just on the North American leg of the tour, excluding Europe and the Wembley Stadium shows.

Does anyone know why the Spice Girls weren't included in this article and how much this tour grossed in total?

Thank you.

1998 Top Tours

Edited by Spice Girls Net

^ That's pretty interesting. That article was written during a more snobby time toward music acts targeted at young people...but...yeah...it would appear they just pretended the Spice tour never happened.

I actually don't think that'd be the only inaccuracy. Hanson and the Backstreet Boys were also on tour that year. BSB's tour in particular was pretty extensive. I have no idea how well those two tours did...but I have a hard time believing they didn't do extremely well in 1998. Guess the writer just decided to leave them all out?

I'm going through Geri interviews right now and WHAT THE f*** IS THIS WOMAN TALKING ABOUT HALF OF THE TIME?!?!?

Y'knowwhatImean?

Small question for you all...are any of your younger relatives taking an interest in the girls?

I only ask because I've played their stuff a few times to my niece, who is 8 in January. I've bought her a copy of their greatest hits as part of her birthday. She likes Geri and Emma, and her favourite song is 'Wannabe' :D

Apparently, the animated movie idea is struggling to take off (even though Victoria is involved): https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/80991...-networks-blow/

That's a shame, as I think an animated superhero movie, which is also girl power based, could be really successful and capture the kids imagination. :(

Sorry, but it does sound like a half-arsed idea to me, trying to cash in on trends with superhero films. I wouldnt bother if I were them...
