I don't think I will EVER see the fuss in Kelis (beyond 'Lil Star', 'Millionaire' and 'Not In Love' at least). I find her pretty boring and she's responsible for 2 of my least favourite songs ever ('Caught Out There' and 'Milkshake' - both vile). There's nothing interesting about her or her songs to me. It's strange because I should love her.

Not even Bossy (apart from the line where she mocks 50 Cent :coffee:)!!!!??!?! :o

Look at her stealing Gwen's swag.

Nope. Not even 'Bossy'. (Although it's definitely more tolerable than the other 2 :arrr:)

Yeah, a lot of her songs are very love/hate types. My other favourite Kelis song was I Love My Chick, but she only features on that one. I bet most people on here hate it because of the sample.

I'm surprised this is so high (and still climbing)! :o It's a very catchy song though, and very UK friendly imo.

SO glad to see Katy doing well. She's such a babe.

lol. This.

I think the song is great aswell though. :D

Dappy hasn't climbed in ages, so I think he's close to peaking. He wasn't far off the top 40 in today's update, so hopefully he'll make it on Sunday.

Labrinth up to #11!!! :w00t: I honestly wouldn't mind This is Love being deleted again to get him the top 10 effect. I think Pound the Alarm is likely to overtake before it gets top 10 though. :drama:

Pleased to see Labrinth at #11 - Would love it to go Top 10 officially but can't see it making it, The success of the song has finally started to sell the album though :cheer:

I thought Dappy was going to be Top 10 with ease by now especially with no new releases this week - AATW need to drop the price to 59p quick otherwise i fear this will become a #38 smash for him :drama:

It's not a proper single anyway, I don't think it really matters where it charts. Top 40 is an achievement for a Dappy freestyle OA/OS release.

I guess so i was just expecting more from it especially in such a barren week for new releases

Just out of intrest, do you like any sort of Dance/Europop music? and what have you got against it??

Ironically, those two are probably my favourite Kelis songs. :)

Recent examples of dance songs I like are Greyhound, Hot Right Now, Feel the Love, Bangarang, 212, etc.

The ones I hate are all those Taio Cruz, Chris Brown, Lady Gaga, Pitbull, Flo Rida, etc. dance-pop songs that are very watered down, generic, safe, and all sound the same to me.

Most of my favourite songs from my childhood were europop. I used to like Gina G, Aqua, Eiffel 65, Vengaboys, Cher, S Club, Steps, etc. So maybe I just listened to that type of music so much in the first half of my life, that it seems very generic to me now. Also, it's sad that back them most of the songs were by ACTUAL europop/dance-pop artists, but now if you look, they're mostly by US RnB artists, who know absolutely nothing about that type of music. Maybe Loreen would've actually got playlisted if Radio 1 didn't had like a dozen 'cooler' alternatives with similar songs to playlist instead!!

In her own words...

"I HATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW!!! AAAAAHHHHHH!"

Pretty much everything Kelis says is ridiculously quotable.

"I would do fur walls if I could"

Because everything about animal cruelty is so quotable.

Ok, to be fair you do have a point.

Sorry. :( I honestly didn't think of that when I said it. :( I feel really bad now lol.
