Big Man is incredible!!!! Seriously, the catchiest song ever. Happy to see it top 1000. :wub: Would be #1 if Radio 1 playlisted it imo (okay, not really, but probably would do very well :lol:)

 

Jessie Ware and Brandy's songs are amazing aswell. :wub:

I absolutely adore Brandy, but jesus christ Put It Down is abysmal :mellow: Seriously, by far the worst thing she's ever done. She is capable of genius like The Boy Is Mine and What About Us? and yet she puts that out. It reeks of desperation, especially with Chris Brown featured, only she's too late and trends have changed.

Wide Awake doesn't really seem to be benefitting too much from being top 10, but i guess it's still building airplay. It's my favourite from Katy since ET!

It's also the theme song apparently to Ice Age 4 which came out on Friday (I saw it today though and it's only on a little bit when Peaches goes to the 'cool hangout' to see her crush).

 

Off-topic but it was weird how Drake and Nicki Minaj voiced wooly mammoths in it :lol:

I think the extent of this week's discussion will just be movement inside the top 10. Cheryl may drop out during the week at some stage to allow Taio Cruz to sneak back in, but I reckon she'll hang on officially. Hoping that Labrinth's 'Express Yourself' may be in with a chance of edging nearer to the top 10 this week too.

 

Will Newton Faulkner's 'Clouds' be the only new entry to the top 40? I think it'll pick up on iTunes by tomorrow and'll debut in the #31-40 region come Sunday. 'LaserLight' by Jessie J could well be a re-entry too in place of 'No Church in the Wild', with Azealia Banks dropping out in place of Faulkner. What a dull week indeed.

I believe they performed as part of T4 on the Beach today - so they probably encouraged fans/a potential new audience to purchase it when they returned home.

 

45. Plan B 'Lost My Way'

 

'Lost My Way' is supposedly getting an 'official' release this week, though it's not happened yet. If so, I'm hoping it'll climb debut within the top 40 officially somehow. The handling of the 'Ill Manors' soundtrack has been awful really, the album should've been released a week or two ago - and perhaps let 'Lost My Way' have its release this week; now that R1 in particular have picked it up. Hoping still that it'll debut at number-one (the album that is), but unless 'Lost My Way' is released both officially and quickly, it won't even make the top 40.

 

Stooshe are still increasing? Fantastic news. Really pleased it's looking likely to becoming a genuine big hit as opposed to a front loaded "fan buy" release. Also nice to see that Loreen is only #42. Hopefully a climb, no mover or a fall of just 3 or 4 places for next weeks chart.

Jammer's earlier song's were not good, like murkleman all he use to say was "murkle, urkle" lol

 

Big Man has an instrumental almost the same as Skepta - Duppy
