Is Gangnam Style in the front page of recommended songs on the US iTunes?

What do you mean?

You're probably right. If people see a link to the song, they're more likely to buy it. That's why record labels pay lots of money to get an advert on the iTunes home page, and why songs often get a boost when they get into the top 10, and so on. If a song appears in the related section for another big-selling song, I'm sure that would boost the sales a little bit too.

IT BEGINS!!!!1!1!1!!1!!1

Now to wait until January for it to (re)crack the top 100.
PSY is attending the MTV VMAs 2012 and whether he performs or not, this should give him some publicity to boost Gangnam Style up. :D
When's it being sent for adds?

No one is quite sure. I love the song though, I really hope it does well.

It needs to be sent ASAP. The album comes out in just over a month, here.

Alicia Keys' new single, Girl on Fire, has officialy been released in three versions: the original mix, the Inferno Mix featuring Nicki Minaj and a more R&B stripped down version, blue light mix.

Columbia have apparently postponed the US release of 'In Case You Didn't Know' and they haven't given a definitive new date for it yet. The Amazon US pre-order page for it also says 'currently unavailable'. Didn't see this coming TBH, I saw what would happen with 'Heart Skips A Beat' happening but not the album. Even JLS still got to release an EP and 'Everybody In Love' didn't even crack the Hot 100. Poor Olly :(

I think what's happened is they've realised HSAB is going to take longer than expected to take off and they're waiting for another date to release the album.

I mean, it took like two months for Olly to break the top 100. He'll either climb really slowly now (ala 'Lights') or bomb, and I suspect the label will be watching it's iTunes performance to decide whether or not to release the album.

 9. Too Close - Alex Clare

Really glad to see this growing into a properly big hit :D Top 10 on Billboard in a few weeks' time hopefully.

But the thing is if it's to a later date - e.g. next year, for arguments' sake - Olly will already have his 3rd album out here and be doing the promo and also the arena tour for it. Releasing material in the US from two albums that have already been out here and in Europe for well over a year or two isn't gonna make sense anymore, particularly when a lot of the small fanbase he's built up there will have already got his first two albums on import (which a lot of them seem to have done).

I near enough had a heart attack when I saw Alex at No.4, sensational stuff

It was used during 'So You Think You Can Dance'

Alex :D Could even get top 3 if he continues climbing, he's not that far behind on Kworb! Although the VMAs might have a big effect on the chart which could set him back a bit again.
