Great video, better than the 12 minute long ones which ended up seeming very pretentious.

 

4Music are playing the lyric video still, but then the video did only just come out :P

Great video, its fun, not overly protentious but still creative and a bit mad. The video has sold the song even more to me too, I hope it does the same for other people too.

Haha, there is a lot of 'Born this way' and 'Alejandro' is this video, but there's no 'Bad romance' for you, sorry ^_^

 

The video looks like the behind-the-scene of a photoshoot, but the swan bit got me amused though!! :lol:

I really enjoyed this. It's really nice to see a video with no convoluted storyline, but just a simple and pretty good visually pop video! I actually enjoyed the song a lot more watching it too.

I'm not completely sold on the video. Could have done with a bit more colour, but it has its moments. I can't help but feel it's a Born This Way video, just with 10 minutes chopped off.

 

Song is still creeping up on me, though!

Kath and Haus have both probably already perfected the 'A R T P O P' hand spells. HAVE YOU?

Frantic is a great way to describe it, it'd probably benefit from having a bit less going on but equally it's good fun and the lack of seriousness makes the song click a little more.

 

Although I can't shake the feeling it's just a series of offcuts from this:

 

It's not a great video, but it's decent enough. Better than most of the videos since 'Alejandro' but I'm thinking she'll never make a truly great video like 'Paparazzi' or 'Bad Romance' again.
It's nice for her to tone it down a little tbh. I think anyone elses video and I would have been like, "that's alright. Could be better, but it does it's job I guess" but with it being GaGa and different (for her), it kind of makes me appreciate it a little more. Still adore the song and it's just nice to see a simple video from her. I agree with Regina that she didn't need to fit so much in, but I liked majority of it.

Excellent video, amazingly short for once, no complicated story, just fun!

The video is FANTASTIC, however as some others have said I would've preferred if there was less shots in the video. FINALLY she got rid of her 7+ minutes videos.

YES at the video. i love how busy it is, that's generally what all my fave videos are like - either grossly simple or grossly busy.

 

take that swan part out and just wow. totally one of her best videos.

Okay after 50000 views here is Kath's conclusion:

  • When has Gaga last looked so glamorous in a music video? 'Paparazzi'? :wub:
  • It fits perfectly in with the ARTPOP theme and it very pop and all, just as she described the other day.
  • It's what everyone wanted - short and not controversial. But the trolls and haters are obviously going to dismiss it as 'boring', but we don't care about them since they loon for 'Roar'. :kink:
  • I'M WORSHIPPING THE NU HAIR.
  • I've perfect the hand movements duh.
  • SwanGa is going to be in fashion this halloween.
  • I cried for a half hour, yes I'm a loser and have no life but only monsters will understand the love I have for this iconic woman.

I'll analyse it in detail later when I'm in a more stable emotional state.
