I've heard the instrumental of 'Good Life' a bit but that's the only one. It's a shame you aren't allowed to buy 'First Steps' as it opens every show on the BBC so is on loads!

Oh I wasn't counting First Steps as that's the BBC theme and not one of the ones chosen by the Olympic committee themselves.

Is that the one that plays when BBC One/Two/Three recap the events of the day/medals etc.? If not, do you know what that is? :P

As much I love them, i think that Celine Dion will have the best comeback this year..Madonna's last era is a huge flop and i don't think that Mariah will do something more than her..I just heard "Triumphant" and it doesn't sound as a great song..Nothing special. Her first singles was million times better than it. She has a great career but her last singles were very mediocre (Plus her bad cover of the classic song "I want to know what love is"). I miss her first albums..Surely, you have right that their careers have been better than all the current load of pop artists combined but it doesn't mean that they have to release average songs and bad albums..Maybe, it would be better for them returning to her mansions..

I think Triumphant is amazing, and Give Me All Your Luvin I thought was good aswell. They're not as good as 4 Minutes or Obsessed though, which I think are much better than most of the songs released by female pop artists now. I loved those songs much more than I like Part of Me, Starships, Stronger, Where Have You Been, Domino, etc. (I know I make it sound like I don't like Dr. Luke here, but I honestly don't mind him that much ).

You can buy First Steps just not on iTunes. Its available on other download sites

You can but not many. And you can't buy it individually, as it's a BBC song you can only purchase the whole EP

I'm not sure TBH! This is First Steps though:

What on earth is that

Have you honestly not heard of Ai Se Eu Te Pego?

It's strange that it's a tribute version though. I've seen the original on iTunes before numerous times, but they seem to remove it and re-add it all the time.

Just listened on Youtube. It's bloody ghastly

I adore "4 Minutes"!!I also like "Obsessed" and "Gimme All Your Lovin" but i don't think that they are songs suitable for them..Maybe, they should have written for new artists (Especially the cheerleader song "Gimme All Your Lovin"). Surely, you don't like Dr Luke but the songs that you referred above are amazing!! It doesn't make impression to me why all of them are huge in U.k. They have very catchy melodies and lyrics. "Stronger" is already the most successful single for Kelly in U.k and "Starships" will end up the same for Nicki Minaj..I don't believe that she 'll release something powerful than it.

I DO like Dr. Luke. He's a very talented producer in general. He's produced a lot of songs for B.o.B, some of why I've just been praising earlier on in the thread, and he's done songs with T.I., Eminem, Three 6 Mafia, Lil Jon, etc. which I like, and also songs like E.T., Wide Awake, You Da One, Till the World Ends, etc. which I like. He's a very versatile producer who can do all sorts of genres.

I would say Kelly Clarkson has had bigger hits than Stronger in the UK, such as the amazing Since U Been Gone (although that was also produced by Dr. Luke I think ).

I agree that Starships will be Nicki's biggest hit. Not that I think Nicki's career is about to end, but Starships was massive in the charts, and Nicki will never be able to get a song more successful than it ever again, it's almost impossible (kind of like how Adele will never get a hit bigger than Someone Like You, for example).

I agree that 4 Minutes maybe wasn't suitable for Madonna, because a lot of her fans didn't like it, and it was the sort of thing you would've expected Gwen Stefani, Fergie or Nelly Furtado to release, but as a song I love it too.

It's the song that they use for the intro where they have video game versions of the athletes like Usain Bolt in it.

'Stronger' is her biggest selling single, in the UK, I believe! :o (or it's very close at least).

Also, in regards to Nicki not ever having a song bigger than 'Starships' "ever again" or whatever, I'd say "never say never". Surely people thought similar to Rihanna when she released 'Umbrella'? Then came along the likes of 'Rude Boy', 'Only Girl In the World', 'What's My Name?' and most notably 'We Found Love'. I'd say Nicki's taget audience is more similar to Rihanna's than, say Adele's or Leona's for example. She is versatile enough to get bigger hits if she wants to, I reckon. Whereas I agree with you on Adele "never beating 'Someone Like You'" or Leona will never have another hit as big as 'Bleeding Love' (WW - 'Run' in the UK). They are targeted in a much different and more safer way. Rihanna and Nicki take "risks" and aren't afraid to push the boundaries, so they're more than likely to expand their fanbase a little for that extra hit.

The people who bought the little talks EP are idiots, there's only 1 song on there and its £1 cheaper to buy it seperately
