#02 and #05 on iTunes, if Swedish House Mafia are not able to chart, Taylor could actually get number one! Who would have thought!

I've expected her to get #1 for a while now and would be disappointed if she didn't magage it. Are Lawson & Dappy really meant to be competition.

Dappy & Lawson aren't really competition but they still released, I would say her main competition this week is Emeli Sande. If Swedish House Mafia is not able to chart she will most likely be at number one!

TAYLOR’S SWIFT RESPONSE: Indications are that Taylor Swift’s Big Machine album, Red, officially available today, has a million copies in its sight, based on early retail reads. Can the country-pop diva actually get there? If she does, it will be the first time in a decade that an artist has had consecutive million-selling debut weeks, since the days of Backstreet Boys, NSYNC and Eminem. Swift currently boasts approximately half of the iTunes top singles, due to the fact the online retailer's “Complete My Album” function was down for the first 15 hours that the album was available, which might account for the large number of track sales as consumers may have opted to buy the songs a la carte. The Target version of the album contains six additional songs, three live and three new studio tracks. Stay tuned as we gather more information. (10/22p)

Amazing.

I've only given the album one listen so far, but I wasn't overly keen on it. The best tracks come from the promo singles (clever marketing etc.), with "22", "Stay Stay Stay" and the two duets being my favourite from the rest. It'll probably grow on me with more listens, but I did hope for a lot better from "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", "Red" and "I Knew You Were Trouble."'s direction.

I absolutely love the album! There were the initial standouts (mainly the promo singles + 22), but since then I've played the others and with each listen, different songs click! Now the whole album has and it is just brilliant!

Here's the very cute Begin Again video! She looks stunning against the backdrop of France.

Beautiful video for a beautiful song!

I wonder if 'Begin Again' will get a push here too, or whether we'll get something more pop such as '22' or a proper release of 'I Knew You Were Trouble'? 'Everything Has Changed' is bound to be a single here at some point with the Ed feature, she's got so many amazing tracks to choose from!

Taylor's shifted almost 39,000 copies -

Does anyone know what Taylor Swift's Red album has sold just in the UK so far? (already know it's done flippin' loads worldwide)

Already :o She could get around 60k then!

Yes. Seems like she'll exceed my expectations, with the recent sales for Ellie & Leona amongst others I thought it would be 50k max. Hearing lots of numbers for the US, seem to be saying that she's done over 500k in one day.

Great to see the Ed duet sneaking into the midweeks too. :D

Could someone send me a link for either the standard or deluxe I don't mind :D

Anybody?!

This is the first album I ever listened to by her 'cause I was so intrigued by the cover (and I like the fact that it had 16 tracks on it - kind of reminded me of Twain's 'Come on Over').

It's better than I thought it would be, although I really, really wish she would stop singing about bad boys. If I have to hear one more of her naive lyrics I'm gonna want to punch her in the face.

She's dated 6 famous man over the space of 4 years and none of the relationships have lasted longer than a few months. GET A f***ING CLUE.

OK, rant over.

'Sad, Beautiful, Tragic' is, despite what the abysmal title suggests, georgeous and her voice is absolutely amazing on there. 'State of Grace' is fantastic too and really something I never thought she'd do. Overall it's a pretty solid listen, even the songs I think are duds don't grate (except We Are Never Ever..).

But I do hope people will stop labelling her music as country because it's not even close to country and I'm kind of pissed that she still wins one country award after another. The genre is just a shell of what it used to be.
