Surprised they haven't put Cheryl on the B List. Also see that they are playing a Tulisa remix, which is unsurprising I suppose given how uncommercial the song is

Try Again on the retro

Owl City playlisted :D Aside from that, dull week.

A remix of Tulisa? What a pointless release Live It Up is, if they don't even have the balls to release the proper version.

Really shocked to see Owl City & Carly, possibly a #1 then? Delighted to see them not snubbing Carly. Cheryl still C-listed though, not too long until her official release do that's a bit odd.

I genuinely thought they'd playlist No Doubt. How sad.

Well, Example's next single is out on the same week but hasn't been added yet, so there's still a chance

Guess Amelia won't be getting playlisted then, eugh.

Good Time!!! :cheer: So happy it's been playlisted, I hope they don't make it album only on Monday (Owl's album release) but I fear they will!

No Amelia! :( What's this remix of Live It Up? :o I'll have to listen!

So weird to see how many classics are on the a-list on the 2000 list, yet i dont see many nowadays on the a list being classic

What do you mean? Radio 1 choose what they playlist. If Radio 1 wants to playlist a remix of a song, there's nothing they can do about it really.

The remix has been played on Radio 1Xtra for quite a while already, but they often play remixes over the original version on there, so I didn't think much of it. It'll be interesting to see which sells more, as I'm assuming Capital FM are playing the original version, and I assume the music video will be made to the original (although they might make an edit for this remix now that Radio 1 playlisted it).

Yeah, I don't really see any potential classics on this A-List tbh. I think the closest are Survival, Little Talks, Bom Bom and Heatwave.

Of Monsters And Men A-Listed :D It'll probably drop on the chart this week as it's still only #32 on iTunes but hopefully it'll resume its progress up the chart from next week. P!nk's newie is also growing on me, haven't heard The Vaccines' new song. Is it just me or is it unusual for only three songs to move up to the A-List?

Must cease being a flop loon as I've not heard either the Biffy Clyro or Plan B songs added to the C-List (I still haven't got round to listening to ill Manors, mostly due to the Olympics distraction :drama:) but always great to see them continuing to get support anyway. Same for Labrinth but in that case I have heard 'Treatment' :P Also pleasantly surprised to see them not snubbing Owl and Carly after all, I was certain that if they were going to add it they'd have done so a few weeks back.

Dull week.

Great to see biffy clyro return....disappointing to see jake bugg dropped but his next single before the album release should get alisted and bloc party stalling in the blist is bad!!

Example's song has only started to get played on the radio in the last week though. No Doubt's song has been played on the radio for weeks. That's the difference.

Good Time!!! :cheer: So happy it's been playlisted, I hope they don't make it album only on Monday (Owl's album release) but I fear they will!

It is

Well, I'm so angry because I didn't find that remix version of Live It Up on Youtube. Not really.

Go Owl City & Carly!

Is Good Time album only?? Ridiculous...record companies reduced to new lows to dominate and control the chart even in the digital era!!
20 songs alisted in 2000, 21 blist and 17 clisted. now its 19 slisted, 16 blisted and 10 clisted plus a few in the upfront list!!
