August 18, 201212 yr The scrobbler has to change song for it to recognise something else is being played, if Song A starts again as soon as it's finished there's no trigger for it to notice. Edit: which is odd because what you've actually said is the complete opposite to what's happened on mine. If I play a song 4 times running from my iPod, when I sync it updates the play count by four and will add four scrobbles. If I play a song four times in succession from my laptop it will only scrobble once. This other time I played a song ('T' <3 ) on repeat for like 10 times and all of them got scrobbled when I got home! A part of me thinks there's a randomizer function running deciding whether to scrobble a song you play on repeat or not.
August 18, 201212 yr http://www.last.fm/user/PoisonedKisses Totally forgot about Last.Fm and have just got the scrobbler for Iphone so I'm back on it now. :)
August 18, 201212 yr http://www.last.fm/user/brokentelephone I need to add more members from here, I love stalking (no judgement) people's stats.
August 18, 201212 yr Finally managed to get last.fm after all this time! http://www.last.fm/user/Klumzee add meh.
August 18, 201212 yr http://www.last.fm/user/theog101 Quite disappointed in my overall #1 artist, but otherwise it looks about right.
August 18, 201212 yr http://www.last.fm/user/TheAndre I am properly obsessed with this website at times. If my iPod doesn't scrobble I cut bitches.
August 18, 201212 yr I also do the whole 'playing music on mute whilst out/watching TV to make last.fm scrobble' thing. How mortifying. I also have another related OCD which I refuse to share on here.
August 18, 201212 yr I also do the whole 'playing music on mute whilst out/watching TV to make last.fm scrobble' thing. How mortifying. This. Used to do that a lot - I blame it for having some artists as high as they are now  -- http://www.last.fm/user/Lukas-Ek

August 18, 201212 yr www.last.fm/user/dwupton1 Wish I could change that stupid username. :( But yes, I am dangerously obsessed with it all too; I wish I could control my occasional urge to listen to The Saturdays cause that stat is GRIM.
August 18, 201212 yr Well I reinstalled it and it no longer shuts down iTunes whenever I insert a CD, yay! However it is refusing to scrobble anything, distinctly less yay.
August 18, 201212 yr http://www.last.fm/user/bigzarafan Might be best not to look at my recently listened tracks though .. Flop loon - I have 258 plays. :kink: Mine: http://www.last.fm/user/MarthaJonesFan

August 18, 201212 yr http://www.last.fm/user/beanochris Although I listen to the majority of my music on CD Players now, so the scrobbling hasn't been too consistant.
August 18, 201212 yr I am so sad. Everything I listen to is scrobbled. I use zenses to scrobble my creative zen and if I'm listening to CD's I scrobble them through winamp after I've listened to them. Major geekiness. Here's mine: http://www.last.fm/user/Grebo69
August 18, 201212 yr I also do the whole 'playing music on mute whilst out/watching TV to make last.fm scrobble' thing. How mortifying. I also have another related OCD which I refuse to share on here. Spill! (I might want to steal the idea!) I do the first bit too. I'll often make a playlist in Windows Media Player and play them on mute, that way my iTunes play counts are safe from being skewed in the process. I didn't realise this addiction was so common!
