April 26, 20241 yr I’m sure it’s a matter that’s been mentioned somewhere on BuzzJack before, but many classic songs on Spotify now list the "Remastered" version of a track, usually with a year after it, which is a problem for scrobblingmto last.fm, if you have used another version of the song before. I guess there’s no workaround other than manually editing the scrobbles each time which I’m not really prepared to as I don’t have the time or patience for that, but it’s something that must be a nuisance to anyone who still cares about scrobbling their music to this service.
May 31, 20241 yr Hello! How to connect a song that is not connected to any album? for example : https://www.last.fm/fr/music/Caitlyn+Smith/_/Static Edited May 31, 20241 yr by isanka
January 2Jan 2 I have been a pro member for a few years now, and didn't mind spending £30 a year on stats but now it costs £49.99 I have refused to resubscribe. That's such a big jump from the previous pricing structure and it feels really not worth it anymore. Pity as I did feel I was supporting a worthy cause before.
January 2Jan 2 To each their own but it's one of the few services that I sub to that meets the crossover of 'worth it because I use it', 'probably needs the money' and 'we'd lose something very valuable if it ever went'. If they didn't have a premium tier I'd genuinely be looking for ways to donate similar amounts that's how much use I get out it (plus the ability to freely edit any tags streaming services mess up is awesome). Plus I mean, did you see their Playback? Blows your Spotify Wrapped this Apple Replay that out of the water with fidelity of information and deep dives (unfortunately still with some of the cringy language that permeates each one of these yearly roundups).
February 28Feb 28 Just sharing a little tip here for anyone interested. If anyone wants to display their most recent last.fm scrobbles right here on BuzzJack, whether in their signature or elsewhere, there is a wonderful little widget that will embed right into the forum which you can make use of. Simply replace username with your own and you will be able to see your scrobbles;https://lastfm-recently-played.vercel.app/api?user=awardinary&width=350&header_size=normalwhich displays as this;Hope some find this tip helpful!
