This song HAS to go top 10 sooner or later, if there is any justice in the world [/lemar]
Hoping 'Little Talks' doesn't go anywhere anytime soon. It's #1 in Ireland, those lucky buggers. Still think it could keep re-peaking in the weeks to come (a la 'Pumped Up Kicks'), but I'm still hoping for 'Somebody That I Used to Know' success - it's doing well everywhere else.

I'm pretty confident at this point that it will be a big hit, certainly a long-runner. Everybody seems to like it so much.

Ireland nearly always have better number 1s than the UK :(

That's a fairly relieving position for Little Talks, I was expecting it to be out of the top 40 this week. Should still have plenty of life in it yet.

Not yet in France ;)

But they are up 47 places at 90 this week.

I'm hoping Little Talks will have a bit of a resurgence next week with all the Olympic tracks fading away.

Nice to hear Pink Floyd back in the charts, even if it is an Ed Sheeran cover.

Anyway, this is nowhere near the best song Mick Rutherford has been involved with. That honour falls to this 90s classic:

Oh man I LOVED that song back in the day  I haven't heard it for ages, largely because it hasn't popped up on SongPop

Album Discussion Here

Seems random that this would climb in with all the Olympic songs taking over and as far as I'm aware it wasn't used in the Olympics either?!
What's got Paloma back in the top 40?
