August 19, 201214 yr Some Nights should finally get top 40 next week. It seems like SO LONG ago they confirmed it as the 2nd single. I think it'll be a top 10 hit eventually.
August 19, 201214 yr This is one fall I'm pleased with. This and 'Somebody That I Used To Know' are so ridiculously overrated.
August 19, 201214 yr Nice to hear Pink Floyd back in the charts, even if it is an Ed Sheeran cover. Anyway, this is nowhere near the best song Mick Rutherford has been involved with. That honour falls to this 90s classic: tKiLGysBO7U I think I could name a whole host of Genesis songs that are better (obviously from before the days when they became Phil Collins' backing band).
August 19, 201214 yr 27  (from 24) Alex Clare - Too Close [D] http://cdn.hmvdigital.com/static/img/sleeveart/00/012/142/0001214206_100.jpg Chart Run: 37-16-6-5-4-4-5-7-10-12-14-22-25-28-32-30-35-24-27 [19 wks] Release Date: 17-04-2011 Format: download only single Label: Universal Music Video here: zP50Ewh31E4 Chart history (Year peak title): 2012 04 Too Close -1-
August 19, 201214 yr Too Close hasn't been badly effected by the Olympics songs. Alex Clare has a new song climbing the iTunes chart atm, but I haven't heard it yet.
August 19, 201214 yr Too Close will end up being in the chart all year at this rate, the ad seems to be getting heavy rotation again, think thats why its climbing!

August 19, 201214 yr Under the Sun should be top 20 next week, and, fingers crossed, top 10 the week after.
August 19, 201214 yr Cheryl has really come into her own this era imo. Both this and 'Call My Name' are fantastic, and heads and shoulders above anything else she's ever done. Her album is surprisingly good too.

Her album is surprisingly good too. I agree, Call My Name was decent for its type. But this sounds rather different and risky for her, I'm really starting to like it.
