Please could you explain how 'Wings' is ""chav music"" because I don't see it at all.

To me it seems narrow-minded to think that Little Mix's fans are all 'chavs'. I'm a big fan - not a 'chav'. Same for lots of people on this site.

As much as I dislike her I think that's really unfair that they're making her remove the album. I mean, she has the 2nd best selling song in the country. If they allow people to perform their own songs which they've independently released, then Xfactor should have been prepared for something like this to happen. If a completely new song is performed then I guess statistically it's more likely to be downloaded than someone who performed a cover really well as people are more likely to already own that song or at least be aware of it.

 

It's still on there ATM, and it's also available on Amazon - plus it's already sold enough to chart highly next Sunday, si they'll look like complete idiots for removing it!

What exactly is the point in deleting Lucy's album? So people are no longer allowed to buy the song because it 'accidentally' sold well?

Angel back in the top 10 yet again thanks to Lucy's album being deleted - it must have dropped out and climbed back in about 3 times now :lol:

I love the narrow mindedness of assuming everyone who likes 'Wings' is a chav. :lol: I personally think 'Wings' is a great track and reckon Little Mix could be successful in the long run if they're marketed properly and given some great tracks to record for their album. Does that make me a chav? :D

It's difficult to tell but Sunday's are usually a big day for releases. I'm sure I read on here once that the majority of sales are gained on a Sunday. According to Kworb, 'Last Night' was selling roughly 65% of 'Wings' so if Little Mix sold 60k yesterday, then Lucy must've done at least 30-35k (it was already top 30 on iTunes before Little Mix 'Wings' was released). 30k usually gets a track into the lower top 10 so unless there's a sudden boom in singles sales this week, I think it's likely Lucy will debut between 6-10 next Sunday. Then plummet out of the chart completely next week - how very 2006!!! :drama:

I'm a chav-of-sorts and although I supported Little Mix throughout XFactor I don't really like Wings too much. See there are exceptions to the rule.
