August 27, 201212 yr That seems weird to me, a song that peaked at #52 and had 6 weeks in the top 75 selling more than a song that peaked at #31 and had 6 weeks on the chart (including another week at #33) The charts mustn't have been selling well when TOE charted  The sales climate in early 2010 was far better than it was at the back end of 2008 so I'd imagine "Decode" is just a far higher trickle seller, although it's well behind "The Only Exception" on iTunes currently. I was slightly worried that TOE had outsold "Misery Business" given the latter charted during weaker sales but good to see it's still their defining track to the general public.
August 28, 201212 yr They didnt when both re-entered last Summer. I'm sure OCC recently revealed the Top 10 Amy Winehouse tracks, and they combined sales for Mark and Amy's version and Amy's solo version. EDIT: Here we are: http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/a...he-charts-1502/ Total of 767,000. However, they do state that they've combined them. Edited August 28, 201212 yr by liamk97
August 28, 201212 yr Good point. If someone performed 'Dog Days Are Over' on X Factor and gave a brilliant performance, it could quite easily do a "Move You Feel My Love" and boost its digital sales. As for 'You Got The Love' selling over 968k, what were the sales for both versions seperately? I'd imagine the original sold more than the Dizzee Rascal Brits version. Why not also throw in the sales of Dizzee Rascal 'Dirtee Cash' too? :D I think the original version of You've Got the Love would still have topped the chart, I'm sure it's nearing/sold more than 500k.

I definately would say Decode is the more popular track overall!
