September 12, 201213 yr They only B-listed Collide and dropped it the week of release so I wouldn't say they supported it quite a bit. Honestly I kind of expected they'd blank this altogether (but I'm pleased to be proven wrong). Did they? Oh, I seem to remember it reaching the A-List.
September 13, 201213 yr I have a horrible feeling Amelia Lily will be on the B-List for one or two weeks, then be dropped off the playlist probably never to be seen again (ala Elephant). :( And I agree with Umi that Collide never went A-List, I'm pretty sure it entered on the C-List, then climbed to B-List for a few weeks only to be dropped at release week. I remember The Saturdays and Pixie Lott both being A-List though!
September 13, 201213 yr Still no Wiley? Or is it too early? It's nice being a fan of artists like Wiley, since there's NO way Radio 1 won't playlist him. It's quite comforting. The song only premiered very recently, so I wasn't really expecting it to get to the playlist yet tbh.
September 13, 201213 yr Strange that they've playlisted Nicki Minaj when a brand new single has just been announced
September 13, 201213 yr Strange that they've playlisted Nicki Minaj when a brand new single has just been announced I don't know why everybody keeps thinking it's a new single. It's a US only single like Beez in the Trap, Right By My Side, etc. It's completely irrelevent to the UK. Nothing to do with us.
September 13, 201213 yr Really glad to see 'Trouble' being playlisted, although I think they supported 'Collide' quite a bit and this song does sound quite R1 so it's somewhat expected. Probably her best song to date for me. I was thinking that Bre, out of all her singles, this seems the most 'Radio 1' for me, so hoping for massive support and hopefully gets to that A-List.
September 14, 201213 yr I don't know why but I love it when radio 1 know they've got it wrong and playlist a song that ends up doing well ie Amelia If only they had did with Loreen as well.
