Example or Gerry for the #1 -

That Jessica Wright single.....it isn't that bad!

It wont be Gerry as they're down to 2, with the Script now number 1.

Its going to be The Script vs Example IMO

I'm still confident, and hopeful, that Example's 'Say Nothing' will emerge victorious. It's another anthemic track from the musician, and for that I really can't fault him.

Here's hoping Dappy can do a Tulisa (yes, we can now say 'doing a Tulisa', meaning 'flop'-ish) and miss the top 10 entirely. Another really under-average release from the N-Dubz member, 'Young' and 'No Regrets' were both great - and deserving of attaining #1 status; the same cannot be said for 'Good Intentions', 'Live It Up' or the by far the worse release, 'Killer' from Fazer.

Example will be No.1 by 8:45pm?

I was thinking more 8:43pm myself.

Not 8:39pm then? That's more of what I was thinking.

Jumps on bandwagon

I was thinking more like 8:44pm

OK? Anyway the news from the charts is that You'll Never Walk Alone's chart placing leaked, Tulisa just missed out and slightly flopped, Cheryl may have also flopped and Flo Rida entered the top 10.

Thanks for the update :D

My Prediction - 9.57PM for Example to go Number 1

I don't think Example will last all week though. I'm sure someone will knock him off.
Tulisa slightly flopped

Sorry? she's already down to #20...

Agreed - he'll get knocked off on Thursday at 9:24am. If not, he's definitely going to be #1. :)

The Script v. Example for the pole position this week then? Great to see UK/Irish acts dominating the charts again, showing Ne-Yo, Pink and Taylor Swift how it's done!

Give me Pink over The Script or Example any day. I hate the 'British is better' BS that gets thrown around too often on here. QUALITY is what determines good music, not nationality. Just look at all those forgotten British no.1s that held off Moves Like Jagger last year.

Jess Wright being 30-ish places above Shakira = EVERYTHING that is wrong with this country.
