On the Scott Mills breakfast show last week he said that if he gets to #1 officially he'll come straight over to the UK. :w00t: :w00t: Live PSY performances in the UK!

He will most likely get to #1. It's being played constantly on the Xtra factor too if that's much help  I would love to see K-Pop cross over in the UK, but I feel it'll just be a 1-off much like "Macarena".

The Fray up to #18, top 40 should be secured for them now, would be nice to see it get a new peak for the year (got to #34 with a 59p boost earlier in the year).

Stuff from tonight's XF:

 28. I Won't Give Up - Jason Mraz

 40. Payphone (feat. Wiz Khalifa) - Maroon 5

 50. I Can't Make You Love Me (Live) - ADELE

 54. I Can't Make You Love Me - George Michael

 57. Jar of Hearts - Christina Perri

 67. Payphone - Maroon 5

 76. With or Without You - U2

 85. Tea and Toast - Big Hits 2012

 88. I Need - Maverick Sabre

 95. Last Night (Beer Fear) [A Tribute to Lucy Spraggan] - Big Hits 2012

 99. Believe - Cher

I don't know where the versions of 'Payphone' were before but I assume they're climbing, probably means a climb on the official chart as well then <_<

:drama: @ two Lucy Spraggan fakes in the top 100.

Bonnie Raitt's original 'I Can't Make You Love Me' is at #101, poor her having two covers much higher :P Good to see Adele overtaking George, hope she can get her 11th top 100 hit with this this week!

EDIT: Actually pretty sure John Denver 'Annie's Song' must be recharting for a different reason so removed it from the list.

I think you'll be pleased to know that they haven't climbed too much.

Glad Jason is moving up so fast! to #25 now with other versions at #208, #301 & #416. The song is currently 59p, so I hope that will give it even more of a push. Would love to see it re-enter the top 40

Nos 3 to 7 on iTunes you can't really separate them, talk about tight, fun., could end up #3
Hate how 'How To Save A Life' gets all the attention when 'Over My Head' is quite clearly the best thing The Fray have recorded.

Completely agree. I will never understand the appeal of 'How To Save A Life'. The verses are so incredibly dreary I feel tired just thinking about the song. :D

 41. I Can't Make You Love Me (Live) - ADELE

Coming for that top 40! This is probably helped by the fact it isn't on either of her albums, just the 'iTunes Festival - London 2011' EP.

Cher - Believe  #86

Timeless classic. Gary bashing it on X Factor means nothing

I don't know if you're joking or not, but THIS. Hope she can get back in the top 40 and smash with the new single when it gets released in a month or two.

Definitely not joking  Absolutely adore the song!

lol. What did Gary say about Believe on X Factor?

That it was in the top 5 most annoying songs of all time. But Ella did a gorgeous version, even if she messed up/changed some of the lyrics.

Really? I used to hear it every day on the radio when I was little, and I honestly never found it annoying.

It's pretty much the first song I can remember loving properly apart from Michael Jackson and The Jackson 5's back catalogues. :o

Still hasn't lost any of its appeal over a decade later!

It's similar to what's successful in the charts today tbh, but a lot better.

Infact, a lot of the chart music now is similar to what I used to hear when I was in infant school. Let Me Love You, for example, reminds me of Blue by Eiffel 65 (another song which I used to hear every day), because they both have the piano arpeggios, and have similar instrumental breakdowns, and are a similar tempo, but Let Me Love You sounds just so false in comparison, and it's nowhere near as euphoric. That's just my opinion though.

I'm confident Gangnam Style (강남스타일) will get #1. The only way it won't get #1 is if it doesn't sell enough.
I heard Starboy Nathan was on X Factor aswell. How weird is that, I thought he'd be too famous to go on there!

I saw him in the West End of London a few months ago.

Yeah, I think I remember you mentioning that before. Well, you better vote for him if he gets to the finals then. :coffee:

It makes you wonder. I hope to see people like Sox, JME, Scorcher, etc. on there next year. The show needs livening up tbh.
