Very good afternoon Buzzjackers- Genuinely a little bit of suspense this week as to how it will all pan out! :o

Such an iconic top 2 in 2002 tbh.

And I can't beleive Ayo Technology missed out on #1. :( What a joke aswell, Beautiful Girls is so boring.

You can see the electro overload starting in 2007, with Ayo Technology, Stronger and The Way I Are all being in the top 10 (and all three coincidentally produced by Timbaland).

So this was the mega selling Elton John week in 1997. Sunchyme is so good, such a shame it missed number 1 :(

Hey all... and to any guests that are viewing come and register with us and join in, more the merrier, we don't really bite.

Fix should've got #1 in 1997. It's such a good song.

Yes it's first full week on sale!

Maybe just a little nibble ;)

Sunchyme was definitely robbed. As was Stay

Stay is by far the best Sash song imo.

Except maybe for Mysterious Times!

RATINGS:

2011 - 40/100 [best song: Cannonball. worst: All About Tonight]

2007 - 46/100 [best: The Way I Are. worst: She's So Lovely]

2002 - 41/100 [best: Strange & Beautiful. worst: The Tide Is High]

1997 - 56/100 [best: The Drugs Don't Work. worst: Candle In The Wind]

1 decent top 10 and 3 decent enough, in comparison to this weeks (based on Fri midweeks) which gets a solid 22/100. Truly dire times.

D'ya like a bit of Gangnam Style Mark?

Not really. Though rating it 3/10 does mean it ranks in the top 3 of this weeks top 10, along with Example's worst single since he became known, and Little Mix.

Glad someone else dislikes Example, thought I was the only one.

I still haven't even heard Example's song yet. I hope it's good.

Considering his recent output, unlikely!

1 million plus sales for Elton John in one week! iTunes would probably be broken if sales like that happened in this day and age.

It would have been a bit more spread out I think, though the initial surge may have crashed it!

I recall a phone in on "This Morning" with people complaining they couldn't get a copy in the shops due copies selling out- oh for the days!
