Rihanna's really not pulling away from PSY in the same way that she did with Maroon 5 last year, and yet "Diamonds" had apparently already sold 41k by midnight. Unless it drops away sharply by the end of the week I can see "Gangnam Style" doing a Gotye and increasing sales.

One Direction should drop to #04 tonight, it's crazy to think on monday they had a 60% lead over Ellie Goulding now it's only 10%

One Direction down to 0.55, Ellie Goulding could actually overtake them within the week at this rate! They're still #1 in the USA but Taylor Swift's new promo single is pushing them, up to 0.7 (PSY 0.35 at #3).

This is a lot more "mainstream" than 'Begin Again' so it could get very very close to the top 10!

Looking back at last week's iTunes thread - it was posted at 4.20pm that 'Begin Again' was #48! Red is now at #25 at the same time - so a top 10 on iTunes could be possible! :cheer:

They never said she wasn't pulling away. But she isn't pulling away the same way she did to Maroon 5 - where the lead was much larger IIRC.

School has finished for the day now so they should start increasing a little bit now.

1D are down to 0.55 on LivePopBars as well so Kworb wouldn't be too off. I don't think it'll matter whether school has finished or not since most of their hardcore fans would have bought the single/EP anyway, unless they are going to buy the physical CD once a day :lol:

These promo singles may hurt her album sales though, as a lot of fans might just cherry-pick the remaining ones that haven't been released, rather than the whole album...

^ It'll actually reduce the price of the album on iTunes, giving people who've previously bought the Taylor promo singles an incentive to "complete album".
