Posted October 5, 201212 yr What do you predict - great comeback single For me she still sound miles better than Shitney and she's still a lot sexier too. 6cfCgLgiFDM Edited October 9, 201212 yr by euro music
October 5, 201212 yr Low top 20 based on worldwide underperformance and likely low airplay + complete lack of promotion. Should be massive though. :(
October 5, 201212 yr Really like this single, but it will probably not do any better than Not Myself Tonight. At least next single will be a ballad, since Christina follows this "upbeat first single followed by ballad second single" trend.
October 5, 201212 yr I agree that it's very good - but also that it'll probably suffer from limited promo. IMO it *should* go T5 - but T20 is probably the best it'll do. :( Glad to see she's lost her post-divorce weight though - now looking as fit as ever! :) Edited October 5, 201212 yr by vidcapper
October 5, 201212 yr The Capital network are supporting this and its TV play has started off well. I think it'll go low top 10, so voted 6-10. I hope it can do better than that though!
October 5, 201212 yr The Capital network are supporting this and its TV play has started off well. That's a point, I heard it for the first time on Capital, although I wasn't sure it was her at first, mainly because I didn't think Capital would play an artist like her. If they continue supporting her, then it could hopefully have a week in the low Top 10.

If they continue supporting her, then it could hopefully have a week in the low Top 10. I was quite surprised when I saw them spinning it. But then again, not that surprised. The song sounds like something capital would play. I think it could possibly do similar to Kelly Clarkson's "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)". Get a low top 10 peak, but have enduring radio presence, causing it to become a decent-sized seller.

Get a low top 10 peak, but have enduring radio presence, causing it to become a decent-sized seller. It would be brilliant if it could have a chart run similar to What Doesn't Kill You! Not to sure if it would, but as long as it is a huge improvement on the previous era, I'll be happy. :D On that note, You Lost Me should have been a massive success.
October 5, 201212 yr It would be brilliant if it could have a chart run similar to What Doesn't Kill You! Or preferably one like 'Moves Like Jagger'... :)
October 5, 201212 yr I love it tbh, but the late release already killed its chart performance imo. :(
October 5, 201212 yr 11-20. Will probably be bigger than 'Not Myself Tonight' (in terms of longevity and whatnot) but it's done poorly worldwide and I don't see why it'd be any different here. Awful song as well but that goes without saying for Xtina for me.
October 5, 201212 yr #1! I'm being optimistic and I think it depends on if the likes of Radio 1 support it. However, I suppose I can just as easily see it doing a 'Big Hoops'. :( It's AMAZING!
October 5, 201212 yr Shame about the lack of promotion, definitely up there with her best hits! Deserves a top 3 imo!
October 6, 201212 yr I love it tbh, but the late release already killed its chart performance imo. :( I'm not sure I follow that - surely people in each country decide whether they like it based on how it sounds, rather than how it sold elsewhere?
October 6, 201212 yr I'm not sure I follow that - surely people in each country decide whether they like it based on how it sounds, rather than how it sold elsewhere? I don't get your logic at all or why you quoted me with this answer. I'm thinking it is released too late, people will not wait, download it illegaly and don't want to pay for it if it'll be released. Nothing to do with how it sells elsewhere
October 6, 201212 yr I don't get your logic at all or why you quoted me with this answer. Sorry, but no-one else seemed relevant. I'm thinking it is released too late, people will not wait, download it illegaly and don't want to pay for it if it'll be released. Nothing to do with how it sells elsewhere  I'd agree with that in principle - but it doesn't seem to apply to this song, since it's had virtually zero publicity so far, so only the most hardcore Christina fans would even know it existed. ISTM only if there's a long delay after a song has started to be promoted in a given market, is piracy likely to be a significant issue.
October 6, 201212 yr This is a great song, only heard it for the first time this morning and was impressed. So much better than that crap known as 'Not Myself Tonight'. However, Radio 1 didn't support 'Moves Like Jagger' and that was still a massive hit. Doubt this will be as successful as 'MLJ' but hopefully it'll give Xtina another top 10 hit at least. Voted 6-10. We're in X Factor season so she'd be lucky to make the top 5 unless she performs on the show (which could happen, she was featured on the X Factor final in 2010 so who knows) As for the whole "released too late" debate, Ke$ha 'We R Who We R' was released in the UK exactly three months after it was released in every other country. Still made it to no. 1 here though.
October 6, 201212 yr This song is amazing, and a lot better than Not Myself Tonight. I don't know where it'll chart, but hopefully top 10.
