Yep. Pretty much. But he should grow some balls. He's on national telly, the cameras are rolling and whatever he says, he's gonna have 8million+ witnesses.

I doubt he really cares that much  He might have acted like he does, all panicky and not knowing what to do, but the choice doesn't really effect him, and he's getting paid big money, it won't bother him much at all in the grand scheme of things.

I think the thing that is annoying most people (including me) is that when Louis said he wanted to save Carolynne, Dermot pushed for who he wanted to send home. Yet, when Louis said he wants deadlock it was accepted straight away even though he didn't say who he wanted to send home.

Unfortunately, its one rule for one person and a different rule for another.

I remember a few years ago, there was someone Sharon loved in the bottom 2 with someone she wasn't that fussed for but sent it to deadlock just for the joy of it, then it backfired on her.

I remember that! It was Beverley vs. Hope, and Sharon clearly wanted Beverley to stay but she took it deadlock because she thought Hope would have less votes (she said 'you'll see why'), and yet Beverley had less votes and went. The look on her face was priceless

Changing the subject, but did anyone else really fall in love with Nicole over the weekend? I'm a fan of Tulisa and Louis, but Nicole was on fire and really entertaining! Hope she keeps it up and potentially gets really bitchy as the series goes on.

Yes, but not because she was being "bitchy" (I didn't realise she was tbh), but because I remember she gave some really good advice for some acts.

Just watched it again and that's the first thing I noticed.

Surely when Louis said 'I want to save Carolynne'. Dermont must known that Rylan was to be sent home. Is every judge's vote going to be like this? A joke really wasn't it? Rylan lucky to still be in the X Factor for another week.
Louis took so damn long to make a decision, and his he did at first vote to *save* Carolyne, but kept changing his mind. That's why I thought he was being annoying.

I would've been the same if I was in his position. I liked both and Carolynne has a good voice but deep down I didn't think she was gonna progress much more. I did like her performance of Starships as it was an interesting mix and her performances overall I have liked as well which I feel Louis thought the same but for me I actually like the joke entertainment act for once.

Plus he didn't state who we wanted to go. All he said was who he wanted to stay. The public didn't vote Carolynn enough so thats their fault. I don't believe it was a fix this time round.

It's common sense though that if he wanted Carolynne to stay, SURELY he wanted Rylan to go? Any person with half a brain can work that out.

Depends what way you look at it, Joseph. He didn't want either of them to go. That's why he took ages making up his mind and then changed it.
