I have seen quite a lot of comparisons about the release strategies of 'Trouble' and 'My Wicked Heart' which both had limited airplay and promo before the X Factor performance. Of course, 'Trouble' has had a lot more airplay prior to the XF performance that 'My Wicked Heart' had but they do seem to both be/did over-rely(ing) on the XF performance.

I've looked back at the thread for Diana's release and at 1am, Leona is sitting at #945 with 'Trouble' while Diana was already sitting at #112.

We did see Diana stall just outside the top 40 just before her performance, will Leona be able to achieve better than that despite the much poorer first update? I am a massive fan of Leona so I really hope she can chart than the lifechanging 'My Wicked Heart' did (how did it only reach #13? :(), I think its gonna be very interesting to compare them.

If you want to compare the progress of Leona and Diana tomorrow, here is Diana's thread starting at the page with her release: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...8886&st=780

I loved "My Wicked Heart". Queen Diana was flawless though. Still gutted that "Put It Back Together" was never released as a single.

'My Wicked Heart' is my most played song of all-time! Everything Diana has released is just brilliant, 'Put It Back Together' would have been an amazing single - and I've always had this vision for an amazing video for 'Notice'!

Glad to see Leona is making progress, I really hope she goes top 10!

In the adverts before almost every video on youtube it features Swedish House Mafia - Don't You Worry Child, so youtube is really pushing this song hard at the moment.

SHM will be number 1 with no doubt (GREAT GREAT GREAT song anyway), I just feel so sorry for ADELE for missing the number 1 spot and she doesn't have any other time to grab it... if only she was releasing on Sunday instead of Friday... :(

I think Adele will be able to get it another time - on the 29 October, there's a CD and vinyl release, the song still needs a video, and it will be promoted by the premiere of the film on the 23rd and 26th (I think the 23rd is the London premiere, 26th when it's actually released in cinema). She can still get there.

She WONT without any of her performance anyware... but she can't do it now and she doesn't do it anyway... so it will get a little bit of a boost but with these MASSIVE weeks... she will always be top 5 but not in the top.

Yeah. "Put It Back Together" was my favourite. I even sang it for my BTEC Music Course. :P

Hopefully, Leona can get a top ten.

I'm sure Leona will be top 10, without a doubt, it's just where in top 10, praying for at least #5. We'll see, T4, X Factor & Alan Carr promo lined up. Just needs the backing of radio and TV massively this week, and the following weeks.

Happy to see Skyfall, Diamonds and Dont You Worry Child doing well too, so its going to be one of my favourite top 10s for a good while.

No, I am straight, everyone on this website thinks that I am gay though. :(

They do? It never occurred to me.

Tulisa just confirmed that NDubz are definitely getting back together

We can all rest a little easier now :coffee:

Not all of us - I preferred Tulisa's solo songs.

I personally don't think it could be ruled out. It wouldn't surprise me if SHM is behind at the beginning of the week but overtakes Adele by next weekend once her hype has died down (if not officially then at least on itunes).

But won't SHM's hype die down by next weekend, too?

SHM definitely have a very strong shot at #1 and it'd be fantastic if they could get there even though it's my least favourite of their singles. Downloaded 'Don't You Worry Child' (the Radio Edit) the second it was released.

I disagree - SHM *would* have had a strong shot at #1 if not for Adele. She has such a massive lead though that there's no way SHM will even get close.

SHM will be number 1 with no doubt

I didn't know they were the featured artist on 'Don't You Worry Child' :P

No need to feel sorry for Adele - there's no way she'll be denied a #1.

It's 46 already but it's also only 2.4% of ADELE... so it will a long way for them... (but like I said yesterday... they will make it)

Don't tell me - you are the head of the SHM fan club... ;)
