Did you liam? I knew it'd never be a single, I think it was a solid album track/cover but tracks like Naked, Outta My Head, Cant Breathe, Alive, Lost Then Found and Broken I would have loved to be released as singles (well out of those :kink: first being Naked I really thought that would of been a huge smash such a radio-friendly song)

I hadn't heard any of the other songs on the album back then, and it's not usual for artists to perform songs they don't release. I do think it could have done great as a single though.

Yeah but with this performance it was all about selling the album, and it did just that, that week alone Echo sold over 100,000 copies (iirc) after that performance and put it back in top 10. :D

I'm just going to ignore the absolute balls about "Stop Crying Your Heart Out", I should have guessed it was coming when Leona returned. At least it and "Hurt" are still completely overshadowed by the originals, shame that we can't say the same about "Run". :(

In other news, YES ALL TIME LOW. Staying top 10 would be lovely.

Grrr, why did "Global James Bond Day" have to fall on a Friday. It's cost Adele a guaranteed No.1!!!

I don't think the producers of James Bond knew that back in 1962! :P

This John Martin on the Swedish House Mafia track sounds a lot like Enrique Iglesias! Great to see Sam & The Womp climbing! :o It will probably fall come Sunday, but at least it’s not absolutely bombing. Surprised that P!nk has only fell a place too, after two big falls in previous weeks.

Good to see Ellie Goulding at her rightful place. Two back to back ELO albums in the Top 10! :cheer: I thought Mika and Barbra Streisand would be Top 15/20, the former will probably drop a bit, and maybe the latter will climb a little come Sunday. Great that Conor Maynard is back in the Top 40, but how come Russell Watson is…re-release?

By the way Martin, Maroon 5 are #26 not #27…I thought it was going to be #27 for a fifth consecutive week!

Mika doing alot lot better than i imagined he would, no doubt will drop through the week but i expected a very low top 75 debut at best. Lemar i also thought would be lucky to make the tpo 75 so he is doing better than i expected but the album deserves so much better.

ELO having two best of's in the top 10 at the same time, has this ever happened before?

Ronan Kaeting still climbing which i didnt expect and what has gone wrongn with Paloma Faith this week, she was having a lovely chart run and then a 17 place drop.

Another poor performing Lemar album. :(

He's such a great soul artist as well. :( It's so disapointing.

Mika's new album in at #15 too...What went wrong there? This is the guy that beat Leona in the Best Breakthrough Act in 2008 at the Brits (same year when Kate Nash beat her for Best Female..hmmm).

It's like when Duffy overshadowed Adele at the Brits 2009...and now look at where they both are in 2012.

You mean two greatest hits in the Top 10? Yes, one example being December 1991 where Queen was #1 with Greatest Hits II and #9 with Greatest Hits.

Sorted, mind you they could fall to 27 still

Is there a reason the Radio 1 website says 'Mr Blue Sky: The Very Best Of' is by 'Electric Light Orchestra' but 'All Over The World: The Very Best Of' is by 'Elo'?

Yeah, I did think that, but then there's the growing popularity and airplay of their new single to consider... Would love it to spend five weeks at such a random position! :P

Suprised to see Lemar anywhere near the Top 40 tbh - I don't think the lead single even troubled the Top 100 and it's had no/very little promotion, I'm guessing it will end up 75+ by the end of the week though.

Massive fall from grace for Mika too but again hardly suprising after the lead single bombed and again hardly any promo as others have said can see this being Top 50 at best come Sunday.

HTF are SHM *so* far ahead - they can't surely have had *that* many pre-orders?

Delighted that Ellie is #1 (wish her lead was larger though)! :cheer:  :yahoo:

Mid report added with some sales info

OCC say Swedish House Mafia is 22k ahead, so I'm going with them, which makes Adele on 50k

Guys - The Electric Light Orchestra Album at No.9, (Mid Week New Entry), is not

really by ELO. It is 12 old ELO Tracks, that Jeff Lynn has re-recorded all by himself.

'Mr. Blue Sky - The Very Best of Electric Light Orchestra'

He does all the vocals & all the Music. It has got very confusing, because he's

released it under the name of the Electric Light Orchestra.

Swedish House Mafia sold over 30k since now and yesterday! :o And Adele sold 20k since now and then. Should definitely see the number one selling *way* over 100k, and hopefully Adele selling 90k.
