Well this song ain't gonna do anything till January... I hope she has some good post xmas promo planned.

She is, isn't she?! I said this back in August 2011 and I'll say it again now, she reminds me of Christina Aguilera circa 1999.

 

Regarding this song doing a "Twilight", I wouldn't count on it.

 

I can see this doing a "Let It Go" in all honesty - especially if Capital or Radio 1 don't jump on board. 'You Bring Me Joy' could've just been Amelia's 'Elephant' (similar top 3 peak, similar short chart run, similar situation with Radio 1 jumping on board late). I hope I'm wrong though. She has and always had so much potential.

Its a hell of a lot more remembered than Elephant though, and had a slightly better chart run too I think, three weeks top ten?! Radio were all over her last single, so I don't see why they wouldn't be for this.

The video is average, but so is the song. The first single is in my top 5 of the year, but this one is nowhere near as infectious and sounds a bit like a Miley Cyrus album track. She's looking good though, very 'Breakaway' Kelly Clarkson mixed with 90s Christina Aguilera.

 

I'm going to see her turn on the Christmas lights in glorious BRACKNELL later.

Does feel like the song has been about for ages! Can imagine it peaking 11-15 then dropping relatively quickly.

I'm hoping now it has fairly solid Radio 1 support and there's next to nothing out next week except Bingo Players/Far East Movement that this can get top 5.

 

Either way, I can't see it hanging around long so a decent peak would be a bonus. Still adore this!

I adore this song shame its destined for low top 10 at best I think.

Could someone please tell me WHY this has been held back for near-on 3 months? Surely all hype it had has been and gone (long gone)?

 

I guess with Radio 1 on board, it may do well. But to me it seems like the law of diminishing returns will strike with this single. :( I can't help but feel she should have released this in December to keep the momentum going, despite the risk that it may get lost in the rush - at least it would've kept her name out there.

Very pleasing start at #62 on iTunes!! Amazing. Hopefully this can get another top 10 for her. I'm expecting around #6/#7 now, which would be good enough for me. I keep forgetting how much I love this song until I play it.
