I think she could even make it officially with all her versions! Fingers crossed :D

Currently #33, #99, #429, #676, #725 :cheer:

Also Family Affair  #76

I'm gonna wee at this rate :D

 41. Single Tear - Tyler James

 62. Cough Cough - Everything Everything (YES YES YES keep going!!)

 90. Backtrack - Rebecca Ferguson

Gutted at the slow start for Lawson - Just hope that the album can do well but in reality can see it doing the same as the Cover Drive album and being a 2 week wonder
Lawson's singles have all been varying shades of decent, they feel less like a typical boyband to me and more like a Dawson's Creek soundtrack or very early 00s sort of power pop act, like BB Mak, The Moffats or The Dum Dums (I can't be the only one that remembers these acts?)
How much do you think Gangnam Style is going to sell eventually? I guess it's gonna end up selling 800,000
I really hope Sweet Nothing gets #2. It will all be very neat and tidy.

I think that's why I love Lawson so much as they remind me of BBMak - I still listen to their albums now, Such an under rated band

I don't really understand who Lawson's fanbase are, is all. They're a bit too old for young girls (who idolise One Direction and Justin Bieber instead), and don't sound mature enough to appeal to casual music fans. This conflict is part of the reason why they're not selling much, I mean their chart runs are just awful:

When She Was Mine: 04-24-35-46-65-63-85-xx-81-xx-91 (9 weeks)

Taking Over Me: 03-17-32-45-64 (5 weeks)

Two top 5 singles, each only managing three weeks within the top 40. Perhaps adding a 'feat.' to one of their songs could give them a bit of longevity, or appearing on a TV show; I've not seen them on TV once.

'Sweet Nothing' isn't the best of Calvin's singles this era so I really hope it stalls at #2 and doesn't become the #1 out of them.

Tyler and Rebecca are doing quite well so far, I'm not aware of what support they've got from TV but neither seem to be on the R1 or Capital playlists. Hopefully Rebecca will shoot up a lot after The X Factor, it deserves to be bigger than 'Nothings Real But Love' imo.

It's a new one to me too.

Tyler and Rebecca's songs both get a LOT of play on Radio 1Xtra and Radio 2, but neither have much effect on the singles chart.

I have to say, the songs performed on X Factor this week were VERY good, much better than all those over-used song choices from last week. It's great to see Eminem and Mary J Blige back in the top 100.

Totally agree - They are the same as BBMak etc, great pop songs but struggle to fit into a category, Really can't see the record company supporting them if this single and album fails to perform. Their songs are so radio friendly but like you said they need a killer TV performance to push them up a level.

Everything Everything :w00t::w00t: COME ON! ....

It all depends really. At first I did not even think I'd get #1 or sell 600,000+ singles but at this rate I think 800,000 might be achieveable.

Mariah's Christmas song at #856.
