Looks like Devlin/Wretch 32 have already dropped out of the top 100 again. :(

 

Looks like there's potentially 7 new entries in the top 40 this week.

Gotye back up to #40 after being performed by the finalists on the XF results show. Taylor's performance has also boosted 'Love Story' back up to #55 (similar to the boosts for 'Sexy Love' and 'Closer' last week, except in this case the actually performed track has got a boost too :lol:)

Suprised to see the Scissor Sisters at #86 with 'Let's Have A Kiki'! Never thought anything else from 'Magic Hour' would trouble the iTunes chart again!

I hope the Scissor Sisters can even manage an offical entry in the top 100 next week with lets have a kiki, shame the album has done so bad. I really hope Calvin can get the number 1.

Thats good for leona but i think leona is fast becoming more of a radio 2 artist and teens these days dont care for her at all like 5,6 years ago.

 

Was her music *ever* aimed at the teenage market? ISTM She's always been at the MOR end of R&B - that's*why* she won XF in the first place.

 

Calvin should get #1 some time tomorrow if not still just about tonight! He just needs to hold up over the week and that official #1 is finally his :D

It samples Rewind by Diane Birch apparently, and is produced by TMS. I could imagine it sounding similar to Alone Again by Alyssa Reid.

Some songs which you could get for free have managed to be big hits before, so you never know. Boom Boom Pow, for example.
