October 20, 201213 yr In the same sense we'd never know if an artist who wasnt on X Factor would make it though on X Factor either...it's just a different way of getting noticed, I dont know why people believe its easier, in a way it could be more difficult with the added pressure and the 'x factor label' comes with a lot of critcism and people are always waiting for you to fail, more so then artists who make it in other ways. I think people shouldnt be snobby about it and judge the artist as an artist not discriminate them due to the route they chose to get to where they are.# I've come to the conclusion Leona will be #2, still good, but disapointed it didnt get the #1. Also Jake Bugg's poster of his new album is everywhere in the tube stations around London, I havent seen one of Leona's. I havent seen the TV advert that they made for Glashhear once. Jake Bugg has that initial hype for his debut, loads of other artists are tweeting about him. He has the #1 in the bag now. I agree with alot of what you say about the X Factor but if an artist is given decent material after the show people very soon forget they were on the XF just look at Olly Murs as a great example but Leona apart from her first single was given poor songs. Sycho didnt know whether they wanted the new Whitney or the new kylie and so messed her up. I know your a Leona fand but a few posters around London doesnt make as much of a difference as mass tv exposure and people are tweeting about him because of his talented singing and song writing skills - he good!! I got tickets to see him a month ago and told my mates who hadnt heard of him to go buy some as if nothing else itll be a decent night out. Then last week my mates other mates started talking about going and all of a sudden he wanted to buy tickets and listen to his album i got that day in hmv lol
