I had a feeling it would be Maroon 5 (would be surprised if they end up being snubbed, they'll probably show up next week) or possibly Matt Cardle as he has a new single out although I doubt he'd accept an invitation to perform if they even bothered giving one. 'Some Nights' to return to the top 20 then?

I don't know if Maroon 5 could perform actually, seeing as Adam Levine is a judge on the US version of The Voice, I know it sounds really stupid but that's probably how petty The X Factor producers probably are :lol:

 

(I know Christina was on in 2010 but I think that was The Voice even aired, and certainly way before the UK version started to even form :lol:)

Will be interesting to see how Matt does without any XF support. He did manage a #84 hit with 'Amazing' earlier in the year so perhaps the new single could still go top 100. Maybe top 40 for the album at a push.

I was only on iTunes about 20 minutes ago and noticed Swedish House Mafia #1 on iTunes Album chart so thought I'd look at the tracklist. Had a :D moment just seeing 'In My Mind' track 4 but seeing it iTunes top 100 is more :w00t: (wait until it gets to #1 :lol: )

 

Batidas are long overdue another massive chart hit. :P

I think Run and Let It Roll are also likely for his 5th single.

Also I hope Flo Rida's version of 'In My Mind' isn't released as a single. Is it still album only on iTunes like it was when the album was released? I listened to it on YouTube ages ago and thought Flo's vocals, and the harmonies, were just horrendous. :(

When I confirmed 'In My Mind' in BJSC, the single was available to download on iTunes. By the time confirmations had closed, 'In My Mind' was removed and all other versions on compilations had become album only. I just assumed they were planning on building up the song ready for a big release but nothing happened.

 

Until now!!! :w00t: There is a music video too so it might start getting more airplay. The next big dance hit? Well, why not!!! :D

Fun. performing on X-Factor is certainly a turn for the books. Ideally/most beneficial is for them to perform a third single from the album; though with 'Some Nights' still doing well worldwide, I think their label's more likely to push them avoiding one-hit wonder status (yes I know they've already avoided this, but...) and selling 'Some Nights' as much as possible. So many good tracks on that album to choose from, 'Carry On', 'One Foot' (though not as radio friendly as the previous two) and 'It Gets Better' all deserve some recognition.

fun. did release a teaser clip for the Carry On video recently, so the song MIGHT get an XF performance after all...
