All five Honeyz top ten singles were SO good. And then their two top 30 hits after that were dire, gutted :( I finally heard Wonder No.8 recently, only 15 years late to the party. There's a song on it called Summertime which sounds exactly like the song of the same name that Another Level had a top ten hit with the following year :o

Since their Big Reunion episode aired, I've listened to them a lot. I've actually warmed towards 'Not Even Gonna Trip' and 'I Don't Know' (plus 'Talk To The Hand' is such a guilty pleasure!) Despite this, I don't think those two singles missing the Top 20 was unjustified, and you're quite right, the first five singles were of a much higher quality.

They certainly didn't help themselves out with 'NEGT' - the bonus tracks included across the two formats: a previous single ('Finally Found') and two album tracks from 'Wonder No. 8'. I'm sure their fan base of the time must have been getting fed up with the lazy track listings by this stage (all of their previous singles included album tracks, and sometimes the same track was used twice - for instance, 'Summertime' found its way onto both 'Finally Found' and 'Never Let You Down', while 'Keep Me Hanging On' was on both 'End Of The Line' and 'Won't Take It Lying Down'.)

911 confirmed on 'Daybreak' this morning they're re-releasing 'Bodyshakin' in a new version for 2013...will be interesting to see how that one pans out!

It's going to be dubstepped, isn't it?! :(

Either that or it'll sound like one of those dreadful re-recordings...you know the ones you sometimes get on those '70's Disco' type CDs in pound shops where it's been re-recorded to a hideous new backing track!

Oops at Liberty X.

WTF? One Liberty X song but 3 Honeyz.. Seriously?
Licencing issues I guess. Being Nobody was on a different label as it's technically a Richard X record.
Episode 6 of 9 | 7th March 2013

Tonight for the first time, our six bands come together, as rehearsals begin for the most important gig of their lives. Can these former chart toppers rediscover their inner popstars – in tune, in step – and in time?

With only two weeks of rehearsals and the stress of juggling their personal lives, the pressure is truly on - and the bands are feeling it.

The bands are starting to realise that it’s not just a matter of polishing up old harmonies and dusting off routines from the height of their fame. They have to be current and relevant, to find their place in this very different pop world where the demands are higher and the scrutiny far more rigid than it was back in their day.

For some, ‘new’ is great, an exciting challenge - an opportunity to turn up the performance levels and own the stage. For others it’s exhausting and draining, a struggle to keep up with the pace.

One of the UK’s top choreographers Paul Domaine and vocal coach extraordinaire Yvie Burnett are pushing them way beyond their limits as they all strive to achieve more than they could possibly have imaged in the little time available to prepare for the show.

And Five are rehearsing as a four piece as they are still searching for a replacement for J.

With frayed nerves, unrequited love, rubber catsuits and back stage confessions there’s as much going on around as well as in the pressure cooker atmosphere of the bootcamp.

Finally with only a handful of rehearsals under their belts, all the bands face their toughest critics – the other bands - as they perform for each other in a unique and mesmerising rehearsal that is explosive, emotional and simply breathtakingly exciting.

Episode 7 of 9 | 14th March 2013

Last week viewers saw The Big Reunion family delivered a bombshell when boyband Blue were suddenly added to the Hammersmith gig and some of the original six groups are not happy about it!

This week, charts the rise and fall of Blue through interviews and archive as Blue join in with the last few days of rehearsals. Tensions are heightened, while everyone comes to terms with the new boys!

After all they have been through together, will the six original bands make room in their tight knit group for Blue?

And with the concert now imminent will anyone be ready in time to take to the stage?

WTF? One Liberty X song but 3 Honeyz.. Seriously?
Honeyz I understand, but Blue? SERIOUSLY? Especially when they're not even in the original Big Reunion line-up... :\

So are we to assume Liberty X's original label don't want their music to be associated with this ITV2 show? I can't see what else it could be. The album is obviously the setlist from the gig in playlist form, it just misses two Liberty X songs. Why would they be excluded? It's a digital album and the missing tracks are available separately on Amazon. Perhaps it's just an error? Odd.

Still very much enjoying this programme (though the search for a fifth member of Five seems a bit redundant now). Interesting to see that 911 are doing some sort of re-release. I've been wondering if any of the acts would stick around after this is all done with and, from watching the show, I think 911 seem to be the only ones who would. B*Witched, Five and Honeyz all seem to have underlying tensions and issues with each other, Atomic Kitten probably wouldn't because of the Kerry/Jenny situation and Liberty X all seem quite happy together but lack interest towards music.

The issue with Liberty X tracks being left off seems confusing. This compilation is being released by the Universal Music Catalogue, and V2's parent company is the Universal Music Group. So I'm not quite sure why there would be a problem?

Atomic Kitten, Blue, Honeyz & 911's previous labels are all under Universal Music Group too. Five & B*Witched's previous labels are a part of Sony Music Entertainment.

(I've gathered this from quickly skimming Wikipedia, so there's probably finer details I've overlooked).

Not really bothering with the rest of this. It was good to see the histories but the B*Witched bit last week really put me off. Too much focus on drama for me.

Tonight's was the most entertaining yet by a country MILE. Natasha doing 5ive's routine! She's too much!

Sean really is the cause of EVERY argument in 5ive. What a little shit stirrer!

I agree, T Boy tuned out at the wrong time, this episode was fun packed! Sean's a really confused character, he clearly still has a lot of demons and I'd have far preferred to have seen J in the lineup instead, who played a far more active role in their songs anyway. Atomic Kitten (Natasha and Kerry in particular) are hilarious, I still love them so much. Natasha seems madder than ever these days, SO loud! I think being successful during the 2002-borepop era mellowed her a bit but she's back to her pre-superstardom wacky personality, and obviously Kerry has never been anything less! Bless Liz crying at End Of The Line, the tears probably started at the horror of realising that Love Of A Lifetime was going to be part of the setlist! I'm still rooting for Lee and Lindsay to get back together, he clearly wants it although it's probably a one way thing sadly for him. Next week's episode looks interesting, more DRAMA thanks to Blue, Simon looks ready to fight.

This show has really changed my opinion on some acts, I have a LOT more time for 911, as much time as ever for Atomic Kitten and Liberty X and significantly less time for certain members of 5ive and B*Witched. I never really had a strong opinion on the Honeyz in the first place as personalities, I loved their singles but they were never exactly tabloid darlings.

Can't help but feel that Blue have ruined this a little. They should have been saved for another series imo.
LOVED last nights episode, one of the best yet, was really funny seeing them talk about the other bands and then performing in front of each other. Also the night out looked amazing!
So I've given it another go and halfway through the latest ep and it is a lot more fun. Sean's a nob though and I can't like Five without J because he really contributed more than most other members.
