Is there really anything they can do to push it? They probably have sent it for radio adds, it's just that nobody is going to play it. And promoting would be a waste of time without airplay.

The best they can probably do is hope a company decides to use it as music for one of their TV adverts. Or hope that Glee Cast decides to cover it.

#37, not #32 :P It also got to #40 in Belgium according to acharts.us. Nonetheless, I never realised NCITW peaked higher here than anywhere else. I already thought it did quite well though, it did hang around in the top 50 for quite a while despite only one week top 40.

Yeah, I think it did quite well. A song like that will never do well in the US at the moment, no matter how big the artists, and I'm very proud that Radio 1 supported it.

I think it did well too. I would have expected Otis and Niggas in Paris to do similar to it, but I guess since they had more longevity, that's why people call No Church in the Wild a flop.

22. Thriller - Michael Jackson

31. Ghostbusters - Ray Parker, Jr.

52. Monster Mash - Bobby "Boris" Pickett

104. Monster Mash (Re-Recorded) - Bobby "Boris" Pickett

184. Thriller - Michael Jackson

269. Monster Mash - The Crypt-Kickers & Bobby "Boris" Pickett

429. Monster Mash - Bobby "Boris" Pickett

558. Thriller - Michael Jackson

Looks like all three of these will get higher than they did last year (Thriller #79, Ghostbusters and Monster Mash not top 100) - I guess just because the dates of the chart weeks are more friendly than last year? Of course these will all start plummeting a few hours from now, Bobby may still miss the top 100.

Bruno Mars 'Locked Out Of Heaven' is getting released this coming Sunday?

That'll be another UK #2 for The Wanted then.

Is it? Ugh. Really hope Robbie or anyone really can hold him off.

I don't think The Wanted will be anywhere near #2 anyway. More like #5-7 I think. Christina Aguilera could go low top 10 (hopefully lower) and probably about the same for Misha B. Rita Ora might be top 10 with her XF performance, 'Shine Ya Light' is already suddenly shooting up iTunes after weeks of doing absolutely nothing - now #56. No Doubt's XF performance probably won't do much.

Hot Natured/Ali Love 'Benediction' climbing again (back up to #44) after being played on the chart update earlier today. #31 on there, will it hold on to the top 40?

The album will probably have more of an effect than the song they perform, albeit re-entering the Top 100 for a week! :P

I hope so!!

I want Misha B and Christina in the top 10 next week, but I think they'll both miss out (especially Misha B). I'd like Christina to be #1, but that's obviously not going to happen right now. I'll settle for top 20. :coffee:

Rita Ora's new song is great, so I'm happy to see it shooting up now. It's helped by the video release recently I suspect. Will debut in the top 40 next week with her X Factor performance.

I'm holding out a small amount of hope for Christina, so desperately want that song to do well though. :(

I'd have thought Misha B will outperform her #11 of 'Home Run'?

I think 'Your Body' has a good chance of making the top 10. The video is getting lots of airplay (or at least seems to be getting played whenever I flick through the music channels  ).

As for Misha B, I think top 20 is likely but don't see her new single outpeaking 'Home Run'.

Really pray Your Body and especially Do You Think Me? do well, hopefully top 10 for the former and top 5 for the former, I'd guess at #9ish for YB and about #7 for DYTOM.

I'm imagining low top 20 for it, dont know why but I think its going to underperform

It's rare for X Factor artists to do better than their first single (only happened with Leona and Olly iirc), although I certainly hope Misha B manages it!!
I'd love Misha B to get a good top 10 placing. I think her track is fantastic, and far better than I expected. It's such a pity she's not getting an X Factor slot, because as far as live performers go, she's by far one of the best to have ever come out of that show.

One Day/Reckoning Song climbing very fast all of a sudden :o

 17. Drinking from the Bottle (feat. Tinie Tempah) - Calvin Harris

 53. Shine Ya Light - Rita Ora

 87. Years (feat. Matthew Koma) [Radio Edit] - Alesso

 21. One Day/Reckoning Song (Wankelmut Remix) - Asaf Avidan & The Mojos

:o

Just as it's removed from the R1 playlist as well - poor Asaf, if only this had started surging upwards just a little bit earlier :P

Halloween songs have definitely now peaked and are starting to drop (well, Thriller is anyway - to #23).

Calvin and Tinie now at #17 :D EDIT: Beaten to it (although I think it's actually been #17 for a while anyway).

From Ben Howard's 'Burgh Island' EP (still #1 on the albums chart):

139. Oats In the Water - Ben Howard

188. Esmerelda - Ben Howard

208. Burgh Island (feat. Monica Heldal) - Ben Howard

248. To Be Alone - Ben Howard

Obviously the majority of his fans are just purchasing the whole EP, thought 'Oats In The Water' could be a bit higher than that though.

WANEGBT out of top 10

I have a strong feeling both Misha B and Little Mix or possibly even Amelia Lily will outperform their first single. Haven't heard Amelia's new single yet but "Do You Think Of Me" and "DNA" are both so promising

Ergh I wish 'ill Manors' could get a bigger boost from being 59p
