Leona's album isn't free-falling as fast as I thought it would.

She needs to start promotion for that second single and get her bum on X-Factor again to help this thing over christmas.

I'd say that is free-falling very fast though.

I was just looking at the new Irish charts, Leona's chart run there for the album is 4, 13 and a big drop to number 30 this week, Uk is some ways is following the same trend this week.
Update is in, please give me a moment. ^_^

Hard to tell, though the 6-9 fall in the midweeks doesn't look too promising though!

Well it fell 3 - 10.

I was expecting like 3 - 30

Leona falling from 3 to 10 was a 62.61% decrease in sales. That's quite a decline for her, even if 3-10 doesn't look too drastic.

What a pity we didnt get provided with sales information. I would be happier to sacrifice Madness for Matt Cardle to remain top 10. I dont think ALT J will knock madness out, if anything ALT J will get a news top 15 peak this week.
JLS already down 06-14 on their second week. Here was me thinking the change in musical direction would pay off, and that it might actually get them another #1. Doing significantly better than 'Proud' at this point though.
Calvin is now 8000 ahead of Kylie

Midweek Charts update: Robbie hits highest sales since 2000

by Paul Willams

Candy has become Robbie Williams' fastest-selling single in the UK in 12 years having sold more than 100,000 copies in just five days.

His first single since switching to Island Records had shifted 100,209 units by the end of business on Thursday, according to the Official Charts Company, to put it on course to give him a seventh solo singles chart-topper on Sunday.

The last single by Williams to open with more sales week one was Rock DJ, which debuted at No 1 in August 2000 with 199,334 copies sold. Although Candy is unlikely to come anywhere near that, it does have two more days to add further sales to its current tally this week.

The huge demand for the single - which is co-written by Williams with Gary Barlow and Terje Olsen - follows a perfomance of it on last Sunday's X Factor results show and provides a perfect set-up for his first Island album Take The Crown, released next week.

Performed on The X Factor the previous weekend, Syco act Labrinth's Beneath Your Beautiful featuring Emeli Sande drops 1-2 in the midweeks, while the One More Tune/Warner-Bros issued an You Hear me (Ayayaya) by Wiley with Skepta, JME and Ms D is new at 3. Adele's XL-issued Bond theme Skyfall is now reviving following the film's debut last week with sales up 62% on the week to lift it 7-4 on Sales Flashes.

On albums Columbia act Calvin Harris has extended his lead at the top with his newly-issued third album 18 Months, which by the end of trading on Thursday was around 8,000 sales ahead of nearest challenger, The Abbey Road Sessions by Parlophone's Kylie Minogue. At the beginning of the week Harris was just a few hundred sales ahead. Virgin act Emeli Sande drops 2-3 with Our Version Of Events, while Atlantic/Fueled By Ramen's Fun rally 33-4 with Some Nights following an X Factor appearance. Its sales are 427% up on the week so far.

Harris and Minogue are joined by three other brand new releases in the Top 10 artist albums positions at this point in the week with ATCO/Rhino's Mick Hucknall at 6 with American Soul, Matt Cardle at 8 with his first non-Sony release The Fire on the So What label through Silva Screen and Madness's first Cooking Vinyl outing Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da at 9.

I wish it was me that was selling 100,000 copies of a single by the way! There's two Robbie's in the above post, only one is a millionaire. And it's not me

Wow... there are some albums in the chart that I'll never expected that high especially albums from Mick Hucknall, Neil Young & Crazy Horse and Peter Andre, while Tyler James misses the 40 completely. Dappy most likely fall outside the 40 by Sunday

The following singles that have fallen from the top 40 are Bastille, Leona Lewis, Kanye West, Swedish House Mafia [sTW], Usher, David Guetta/Sia and Amelia Lily. Ouch for Bastille, mind you they could just snatch #40 if they are literally just outside, if Hot Natured & Ali Love or Nicki Minaj leaves the 40 on Sunday.

Robbie 100k (just) :D It seems unlike MW to give such a precise figure.

Woo @ Adele up to #4, Calvin/Tinie up to #26 and Ben Howard's EP coming in at #32 (must be selling loads, as it's a midweek release - hope it can hang on and give him his highest peaking 'single' but it's hard to tell how much an EP is selling, it's down to #4 on the iTunes albums chart now). Surprised but kind of glad to see Matt Cardle overtaking Madness, I think he will hold onto the top 10 now and join the short list of XF acts with more than one top 10 album (G4, JLS, Joe McElderry, Leona Lewis, Olly Murs, Shayne Ward).

Where are Adele '21', Mumford & Sons 'Sigh No More' and Florence + The Machine 'Ceremonials' now?

Gutted that Madness look to be falling outside Top 10 as wanted them to achieve a top 10 in another decade. Hate XF artists overall but have to admit Matt Cardell is deserving as he is a very talented artist and not exactly hyped as some others. The unbelievable one is Mick Hucknall. No publicity at all and nearly up to Taylor Swift which sold over 60000 last week. Expect Madness to end up 12 or 13 behind paloma faith and muse.

Any idea on where The Killers album is, please? I am seeing them live, tomorrow. REALLY CAN'T WAIT. It's been too long since I've been able to actually afford to go and see them. Wanna know if the tour and 'Miss Atomic Bomb', is helping them stabilise a little.
Calvin is 100% sure of number 1 now, i dont mind as i like most of his material. I do hope Kylie stays firm at number 2 but i would not be shocked to see Emeli Sande number 2 on Sunday.
