It has! Impressed thus far.

I shall, as usual, hold out for the release date... however I have high hopes, I've liked everything I've heard so far - and it's all suitably different from their earlier work whilst sounding so obviously them at the same time.

I love Diane Young, so hopefully this album is a return to form for them after the last album. White Sky is probably one of the worst songs I've ever heard. :puke:

Agreed!

 

Every track on Contra, bar perhaps Holiday, is addictive as hell. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be TOO much material that's as good on the album either side of it. :(

Hate to say that but this album is actually great so far! :o

You were always one of my biggest supporters as well. :cry: Seriously though, I really don't like it at all.

 

And I can't even remember what Holiday sounds like! :lol:

Hannah Hunt is so perfect, ugh.

It's certainly exceeded my first impressions but give me Contra over this any day. 'Finger Back' is my highlightttt.

The climax of Hannah Hunt has passed the singing-in-the-car-at-the-top-of-my-lungs test.

Better than Contra, not as good as the debut IMO. But I do really like all 3 albums.

It's a great album, not as great as Contra for now, but I might grow to love it more.

 

Highlights:

Don't Lie, Hanna Hunt, Finger Back, Ya Hey, Hudson.

It's a good album on first listen, I don't quite love it as much as "Contra" or their s/t debut but then I've not listened to it anywhere near as much as those! :P

 

"Step", "Unbelievers", "Don't Die", "Diane Young" and "Hannah Hunt" are the best things on it.

I don't know how I feel about loving every album of theirs.
