Same for me, i wouldn't buy a song i don't like no matter how much it is reduced. The only time the 59p offer affects me is if there is a song i am like hmm i like it but don't love it i would more likely buy it at 59p but wouldn't at 99p. But in general the 59p thing doesn't sway me too much,

Emeli and Labrinth are back to number 1, if they can pull away for the rest of the week they may well return to number 1. I know Robbie has the album version as well but i think Emeli will give him a good run for his money. Beneath your beautiful will be huge, its performing so strong for a 3rd consecutive now and is not showing any signs of fading.

How high did 30 Days get with pre-orders?

I'm sure that was on the albums chart as it was an EP. EP pre-orders still go to the iTunes album chart. Madonna wasn't on pre-orders on the songs chart either.

 

PS: If you meant Gimme All Your Luvin' by Madonna, that wasn't on pre orders. If you pre-ordered the album, you could get the song, but you could also buy the song separately.

What people are forgetting with the 59p reductions, is that back in the day a CD single used to cost £3.99, and new releases or songs going down the chart would often be reduced as far as 99p. Quite often they would go back up to £3.99 the week after (for new songs at least) but I'm just saying that this is a marketing tactic that's been about since at least the mid 90s.
