I'm stuck between & rock & a hard place - basically, Buzzjack is happy for me to comment on anything *except* one particular genre. Therefore I have to either tone down my opinions to such a level that they no longer represent what I really think (or keep them bottled up entirely, which is never healthy), or risk pissing off the forum again (sigh).

 

Perhaps we should set up a special 'letting off steam' forum, where people can rant & rave as much as they like without upsetting anyone else, because anyone who chooses to visit it would know exactly what to expect?

It's not commenting on that particular genre per se, it's that it all tends to get rather repetitive. When I saw that you were talkling about Niggas in Paris I thought not *again*! How many times has the 'why can black people use that word, but not whites' discussion been trawled though?

I think that's what get's people's backs up, not that you hate rap.

So the Bruno Mars release was just a rumour then. Shame it probably will be no. 1 next week whilst the superior 'DNA' will more than likely have to settle for second place.

 

Anyways, I also hope The Wanted's new single doesn't get near the top. it's just another rehash of 'Glad You Came' but with falsetto vocals. Watch it plummet down the charts next week. Sadly it is looking set to be the highest new entry regardless of where it charts.

The new Wanted and Misha songs are so awful, hopefully neither of them do too well.

I reckon Misha B might just miss the top 10, the acts in the top 10 look very strong to me, Sub Focus most likely push ahead of Misha. The Wanted, Rita Ora and Sub Focus are most likely top 10 entries, Christina I really can see her trailing off by the end of the week, could be looking at a top 15 entry at a stretch.

I really hope Christina can reach top 5 at least. I'd love it to be number 1 but unfortunately it doesn't look likely :(
