Posted November 4, 201212 yr Hola Does anyone know of a reliable website where I can find reasonably up to date sales figures for the following Robbie studio albums? I'm looking for both the total UK sales for each album and also the total Worldwide sales figures (including UK sales). I was intending to post a sales thread in the Robbie AF but I've been struggling to find the data. Wikipedia has figures but I think people probably just make those ones up  Life Thru a Lens I've Been Expecting You Sing When You're Winning Swing When You're Winning Escapology Intensive Care Rudebox Reality Killed the Video Star Thanks in advance, Jupsy x
November 4, 201212 yr Author Well, I guess that would do. I could always add a couple million for inflation :P Although Reality was only released at the tail end of 2009 so not sure if it would be included?
November 4, 201212 yr It's not up to date but 09 figures for UK can be found on this forum, here I can add Reality Killed The Video Star: 896,069 (a few months after its release). Edited November 4, 201212 yr by yoyorex
November 4, 201212 yr I guess next week Reality killed will enter again the charts, and who knows, maybe it will sell 900.000 copies
November 4, 201212 yr Author Goodness only knows. I didn't expect Candy to sell anywhere near as well as it did. :P Still looking for Worldwide album sales figures btw :P
November 5, 201212 yr Hi, I collated these in the Summer of last year: Life Thru A Lens 2,085,136* I've Been Expecting You 2,568,075* Sing When You're Winning 2,192,562* Swing When You're Winning 2,266,752* Escapology 2,054,982* Live At Knebworth 621,759* Greatest Hits 2,239,764* Intensive Care 1,614,036* Rudebox 511,736* Reality KTVS 940,000** (+/-20,000) In and Out of Consciousness 624,800** *sales from Feb 10 **sales from July 11
November 5, 201212 yr RKTVS did well in the end, should do a million in the long run with increasing sales for it in the coming weeks!
November 5, 201212 yr I had these which i must have saved from a MW report over the last year or so. Seems to be a big disparity in his 1st 2 albums. From april this year MW said he'd sold 14,043,554 in the 21st century sale Life thru a lens 1,720,000 I've been expecting you 2,090,000 Sing when you're winning 2,261,000 Swing when you're winning 2,188,000 Escapology 2,052,000 Live At Knebworth 600,000 Greatest Hits 2,189,000 Intensive Care 1,612,000 Rudebox 600,000 Reality Killed the Video Star 900,000 In and Out of Consciousness 600,000 16,812,000
November 5, 201212 yr Maybe MW will give us some of his up-to-date sales in their report after he gets to no1 this week. ;)
November 12, 201212 yr We only got 1st week but i've done some lovely percentages. Based on his most recent form of his albums selling 20-25% of their full sales in the 1st week, Bob could expect TTC to sell between 315-412,000 in it's lifetime. Less than Rudebox!!! (which I actually liked, it was his 1st album sing SingWYW that I bought) Total Sale 1st week 1997 Life thru a lens 1,720,000 11,000 0.6% 1998 I've been expecting you 2,090,000 131,836 6.3% 2000 Sing when you're winning 2,261,000 313,585 13.9% 2001 Swing when you're winning 2,188,000 295,024 13.5% 2002 Escapology 2,052,000 264,104 12.9% 2003 Live At Knebworth 600,000 117,863 19.6% 2004 Greatest Hits 2,189,000 320,081 14.6% 2005 Intensive Care 1,612,000 373,832 23.2% 2006 Rudebox 600,000 147,236 24.5% 2009 Reality Killed the Video Star 900,000 238,126 26.5% 2010 In and Out of Consciousness 600,000 121,688 20.3% 2012 Take The Crown 83,508 83,508 100.0%
November 12, 201212 yr Yeah, could be less than 'Rudebox' (kinda not surprising). I do like the singles from it, even 'Rudebox', the song! BTW, LTAL actually has sold over 2 million, well, says the latest sales report. Edited November 12, 201212 yr by FM11
November 12, 201212 yr Very impressive sales, rudebox stands out like a soar thumb though. Yet I think it's a great album. So many people are missing out on it. :(
November 12, 201212 yr I didn't read the 2nd paragraph of the Robbie blurb. These sales are 174k out from his lifetime total, i used rundmck's totals with the ones we got in the sales report Total Sale 1st week 1997 Life thru a lens 2,091,896 14,533 0.7% 1998 I've been expecting you 2,568,075 131,836 5.1% 2000 Sing when you're winning 2,192,562 313,585 14.3% 2001 Swing when you're winning 2,266,752 295,024 13.0% 2002 Escapology 2,054,982 264,104 12.9% 2003 Live At Knebworth 621,759 117,863 19.0% 2004 Greatest Hits 2,239,764 320,081 14.3% 2005 Intensive Care 1,614,036 373,832 23.2% 2006 Rudebox 511,736 147,236 28.8% 2009 Reality Killed the Video Star 940,000 238,126 25.3% 2010 In and Out of Consciousness 624,800 121,688 19.5% 2012 Take The Crown 83,508 83,508 100.0%
November 18, 201212 yr I posted this on the Buzzjack Robbie forum: from the most recent OCC info, we have exact totals for a grand total of 2 of Robbie's 12 albums. However, we do know the exact total of his total album sales. Therefore, I have taken all the most recent album sales information, and increased them in line with general itunes popularity, to provide (hopefully fairly accurate) estimates of his current individual album sales, totalling up to the exact figure the OCC gave us. The main question mark ironically is RKTVS, as, despite being his most recent studio album before TTC, it is also has the longest period of time without exact sales info. Here we go: Life Thru A Lens...................2,091,896 I've Been Expecting You ......2,579,000 Sing When You're Winning ..2,201,000 Swing When You're Winning 2,279,000 Escapology.........................2,065,000 Live At Knebworth...................624,000 Greatest Hits ......................2,249,000 Intensive Care .....................1,621,000 Rudebox ...............................516,000 Reality Killed The Video Star 1,002,000 In & Out of Consciousness ......672,650 Take the Crown ........................83,508 Total: 17,984,054
November 18, 201212 yr You can't even buy 2004's greatest hits on iTunes & i'd suspect IAOOC is the only hits CD EMI would still produce.
