November 8, 201212 yr I think most of the ones I think will make the list have been said already, although I'd love Public Service Broadcasting and Wonder Villains to make the list as well. Obviously I would also be delighted to see PSB on the list. Probably a forlorn hope but you never know. I#ve liked what I've heard of the Wonder Villains (on your old radio show) too.
November 8, 201212 yr I'd like to just say, that I was the only one to mention Rita Ora last year, kk thx. LOL doesn't mean she's GOOD or anything. Plus is she likely to stick around? lol bithc no bye
November 8, 201212 yr CHVRCHES will be up there definitely, hopefully these will too: Stay+ Julio Bashmore. Cymbals Jethro Fox Shy Kids Public Service Broadcasting Edited November 8, 201212 yr by Doctor Blind
November 8, 201212 yr BASTILLE FOR THE WIN! Going to see them at the start of next month. :w00t: I'd love AlunaGeorge & Angel Haze to be in the top 5 as well (with AlunaGeorge being #2)!.
November 8, 201212 yr Couldn't give a toss. It'll be whoever the record companies are releasing new content by in January. It's just another form of hyping. Pretty sure everyone who they ask just picks up whatever press releases they have on their desk and say, 'that'll do'.

November 8, 201212 yr Hopefully they'll chuck a few names in their that they've playlisted - so Bastille, Angel Haze and The Neighborhood; though Bastille having a #21 hit suggests they don't necessarily need support from the poll, support from the radio station alone is doing enough.
November 8, 201212 yr Obviously I would also be delighted to see PSB on the list. Probably a forlorn hope but you never know. I#ve liked what I've heard of the Wonder Villains (on your old radio show) too. Oh well, at least I hope they'll do well in the UK Bloggers' Sound of 2013 list.
November 8, 201212 yr I'd like to just say, that I was the only one to mention Rita Ora last year, kk thx. That first post does look very accurate. Foxes, CHVRCHES, Angel Haze, not sure if Kendrick Lamar is too big but perhaps him, AlunaGeorge, Danny Brown, Gabrielle Aplin, Pins, Zedd (maybe) are other names I'd say are possible/likely. Kendrick's album went top 20 which I think would make him ineligible - if not for that I would have said he's a likely nomination. Never heard of Danny Brown and Pins. Also - you mentioned Rita and now she's megaflopping, can't even get a 4th #1  Edited November 8, 201212 yr by Bré
November 8, 201212 yr I never pay attention to this...usually cause I've A) heard of the people nominated prior to them releasing stuff or B) don't care about who they've picked.
November 8, 201212 yr Fairly certain Bastille will win. I thought they would have made the list last year and I've been saying for ages they're going to get huge.
November 8, 201212 yr Charli XCX is Marina's wannabe..I have heard her first song and i thought that she was Marina and The Diamonds..I think that she doesn't deserve it..
November 8, 201212 yr The 1975 would be a great choice, although I can see them being the token White Lies / Vaccines obvious moderately successful indie band top 3 that we were missing last year.
November 8, 201212 yr Charli XCX is Marina's wannabe..I have heard her first song and i thought that she was Marina and The Diamonds..I think that she doesn't deserve it.. The only similarity is their appearance. @ Bray I'm pretty sure the album needs to have gone top 15 for the artist to be ineligible.
November 8, 201212 yr Oh well, at least I hope they'll do well in the UK Bloggers' Sound of 2013 list. Maybe Everest will be a massive hit thus rendering Public Service Broadcasting ineligible. And maybe the new Suede album will sell five million copies within a month of relesae.
November 8, 201212 yr Can we just make a list of the best recent BJSC acts and force the BBC to publish said list? Oh totally. :D Agnes Obel, SX, Brooke Fraser, Andain, Amatorski, Studio Killers, Hook N' Sling, Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl, The National Fanfare Of Kadebostany. I think this list is perfect. :D
November 8, 201212 yr BASTILLE TO WIN OR DEATH TO OCCUR -x- Hits, do you admire my attempt to make you become global mod or not? :D
November 8, 201212 yr Hits, do you admire my attempt to make you become global mod or not? :D  I found that post quite random in a "why mention me?" kinda way. I'm quite happy just being a regular mod. :D
