Maybe but still maybe that 20-25K is that what LM will need this week anyway and 25% boost in sales it's VERY good effect...

Around 25k of 137k is not a 25%... and that's in a positive case, then we have a lot of negatives examples where a performance hasn't really helped them much than jumping 5 places on iTunes.

Ed to do a "Beaneath Your Beautiful" please!

Lana was never going to that well, infact 63 probably isn't too bad at this point

But what in the hell happened to Close Enemies though? I'd predicted a #17 SMASH but it doesn't look like it'll even get close to that! Is it to do with lack of radio/tv support or something?

The point is if it is a good song then there is no better promo than the X factor. It's demographic is music buying public or at least people interested in music. Of course if someone goes on there with a turd of a song it isn't going to help it much, but as shown with Robbie and Labrith if it is a good song that is going to do well it exposes it to an audience ready and willing to buy it.

Little Mix are #4 on Itunes after being on release for 2/3rds of a day, so it is obviously a good song with interest and X factor will showcase an obviously good song to an 8 or 9 million audience.

Oh, Bruno doesn't have much of a lead at all :o Little Mix to somehow overtake him please!
Bruno's lead isn't that big really, I reckon (or hope) Little Mix will knock him off after there X Factor performance.

I wasn't expecting Example to do well, but WOW, what an absolute disaster :o

Poor Lana :(

Hoping Little Mix can fly up to #01 after their X-Factor performance.

lol @ Stooshe

Example is like the male Alexandra Burke with this, this is his Let It Go  (even if he was never as successful as Hallelujah/Bad Boys or Overcome)

If they're #4 then it means it's a good song? so does that mean McFly's song is better than Little Mix?

Good to know.

And that's without the help from the crapFactor
X Factor has an effect with a show stopping performance or when the song is already very popular and would be heading there anyway. I'm not saying Little Mix have no chance, but they're still a good 35% of Bruno.

This, this, this please! It's a pity the single version/ radio edit (which is actually, iirc, a new version of the song) wasn't reased today. At least you'll be getting your money's worth. :P

Little Mix are not really that far behind #1, their performance tonight could give them the edge.

That's what I said.

Of course it's going to help them, it isn't like Bruno is performing on Strictly or anywhere else to really know what is the real effect of the show. The thing is, they're 35% behind Bruno, they can catch him but are they going to mantain a lead in a couple of days?

Well seen as quality is subjective of taste, little mix song is obviously good enough to sell in a large quantity and the only thing we can compare music on is sales.

However you both knew that and have a w*** attitude.

I just remembered McFly like to rely on their Twitter friends to promote their singles. Even Robbie Savage is asking his followers to buy LIE.

When Harry was on Strictly, they had people from Harry Potter, Glee and One Direction asking their followers to vote for him. Sneaky. :heehee:

EDIT: & to vote for Dougie as well on IAC.

Even if LM get no.1 I reckon it'll be another Robbie/Labrinth situation where Bruno will re overtake if LM haven't got a massive lead if they do get no.1 after their performance by midweek.
