Lana Update

76. Cola - shocked this is doing the best off the album. It's far from the standout, but amazing nonetheless

Yay for Example at least going top 40 now, so it should at least outpeak 'Daydreamer' and not be his worst performing pre-album release I guess...

And on the contrary 'Cola' seemed like the obvious top track off the EP with some of its lyrics

True  It seems to be the only lyric that people talk about, even though she's got so many amazing lyrics on the album, but i can understand why.

Sales of Candy are already almost the same like Bodies and You Know Me were so it doesn't matter if he will 5th or 6th or 7th, etc this week cos the sales are good.

The first fact: seems he will overtake all his singles since Rock DJ (635k for it but the next one is Eternity/ The Road to Mandalay has 'only' 375k so that's question of time) - the dynamic of sales shows it.

The second fact: he is the only one who have done a double in 2012.

So the time is good for Rob now...in singles chart at least :)

I'm pretty sure "Hall of Fame" had a chart run of 2-1-1-2-.... or such.

I think he meant double as in number one in singles and albums on the same week. ;)

Yes, it was the same in Ireland. It only seemed logical to me that with the controversy over the lyrics it would do the best. One of the best songs on the EP to my ears, though.

Oh my god. Girls Aloud, if you're reading this, PLEASE don't release Something New this Friday. :(

I'm sure the BBC also has a say in all of this.

The "mistake" here is releasing it the week after CIN instead of the same week CIN was airing. They should have released it last Sunday.

At the end of the day, as someone said, this is a charity single...

CIN is this friday...

I know? That's why I said they should have released the song yesterday?

I'm pretty shocked by Example. I was thinking it would make the top 15 or so this week, but it's actually going to scrape the top 40. :o

This is a single preceeding his album too, dear oh dear.

Little Mix - DNA - 96.8%

One Direction - Little Things - 87.5% + 15.6%

1D 'Take Me Home' update:

232. Summer Love - One Direction

234. Change My Mind - One Direction

All tracks from both versions are top 1,500. 88, 89, 96 and 102 are the extra tracks on the Yearbook Edition. 105-300 are Yearbook Edition, below that is the standard edition (and obviously with 'Little Things' the version in the top 3 is from the Yearbook Edition).

71. Cola - Lana Del Rey

78. American - Lana Del Rey

Example  to #36, maybe it could still outpeak 'Let It Go' :P

I'm one of Example's biggest fans, but even i've been severly unimpressed with his singles this era so far. How did he go from Midnight Run to these?

And for the record Let it Go (one of my favourite singles of the year) poos over the two singles

I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often really. I'd have bought it but don't see the point when I'll most likely get his album next week.

I only liked 'Changed...' and 'Natural Disaster' from his last few singles, everything else has just been a grave disappointment. :(

There seems to be a bit of a clearout in the top 10, with at least 4 new entries in the top 5 :o can't remember when the last time that happened
Little Mix are going to get to #1 and then 1D are gonna overtake them almost instantly, right? :(
1D is ALREADY number 1 combined! What a GREAT song... If only.. 1 day earlier... but whatever I guess :|
