ARGH at 'I'm Yours', guess 'Set Fire To The Rain' will never overtake it as the highest selling non-top 10 hit at this rate :(

 

'Gotta Get Thru This' is not a song I expected to ever see back in the chart :D

 

Now I can agree with everyone's dislike for IY. Overrated, irritating and should go away and never return but I find IWGU a million times bearable. I can see why people think it's dull though.

Christmas Tree by Lady Gaga is such a weird song. :lol: I wish she released stuff like that as her normal singles.

 

While we're on the subject of weird songs:

 

45. Monsta - Holdin' On - I love this song. You can tell Nero did part of the beat, the strings sound like the ones from Must Be the Feeling (btw, how was that not a massive chart hit? It's probably their poppiest song from the album).

Probably. I bet it happened with Interscope sometime during 2002-2007, they really dominated then.

Dunno bout same label (probably happened a lot in the 50s/60s but S/A/W produced three of the top 4 singles in March 1989 if that counts? :D

Oh and I really wish The Killers Christmas tracks would actually do something whenever they're released! They always release a BRAND NEW Christmas song every year, so it'd be nice if one of them got there instead of the usual Mariah/Pogues/Wizzard sort of takeover. (Shame it'll never really happen though)

Labrinth and Emeli Sande back up to #2, wow. Cowell must be laughing at dominating the UK iTunes top 3. Could potentially see them all shunted to #4-6 next week though, with Alicia Keys, Girls Aloud and Olly Murs each likely to debut high.

Interesting that this is doing relatively well when The Vaccines did absolutely nothing with 'I Always Knew'. 'Sun' isn't one of my favourites off TDCC's new album but nonetheless pleased to see it in the top 100 especially after 'Sleep Alone' barely got there itself. Criminal that they're still yet to have a single top 40 hit though.

I agree. Undercover Martyn, What U Know and I Can Talk should have been top 40 hits.

:lol: I love the song so much, especially the music video. :lol: The chanting in the song reminds me of the Bamboo remix of Hips Don't Lie.

 

I have to say, I'd find it quite hilarious if at the end of the week Labrinth ended up getting the #1. Doubt it will happen though.
