'Yeah Yeah' This needs to be a big hit a la 'Too Close'!

Willy Moon is from New Zealand, who was the last Kiwi to make the top 40?

I like the cover of Power of Love, its just the whole concept of 'girl covering stripped down classic and featuring on advert' is so boring now...

Quite like this Willy Moon song on first listen

Catch-up

40. Much like 'Perfect' outshone 'Raise Your Glass', here 'Try' is heavens better than 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)'. Hopefully it'll only climb in the coming weeks, an X-Factor performance would be a Godsend. So long as it doesn't do a Kelly Clarkson 'Dark Side', reach #40 and then drop from there on.

39. 'Good Time' did become irrelevant pretty quickly, but it was/is still great to see both artists with at least two 'hits' to their names now. Rudimental and Alex Clare are using this method currently, with 'Not Giving In' - sure to work.

38. 'Some Nights' exceeded all expectations, honestly thought they'd be a one-hit wonder; although the majority of the tracks on the album deserve to reach the top 10. Here's hoping 'Carry On' can at least deliver them a third top 40 hit.

37. Awful chart run for another song that seemed to become irrelevant pretty quickly. Yet to hear their new single, but from the sounds of it a ballad could go either way - 'Gotta Be You' and 'More Than This' certainly didn't take off.

36. Nice cover. Can't say I've heard the original yet. Does sound an awful lot like Birdy though.

I'd suggest listening to their albums before saying they can't do ballads - my favourites on each have been their ballads, and Gotta Be You and Little Things aren't included there.

If that's the case, then they aren't very good at picking singles! :P

I quite liked Gotta Be You, it's just that they went over the top with all the howling on the chorus..."it's gotta be yoooOOOOuu!"

That Willy Moon track is a TUNE!

Daniel Bedingfield?

This Willy Moon song is really catchy, but everybody on Buzzjack will no doubt hate it like everything else that uses samples. :drama:

I've heard some songs from the album just not any ballads, I quite like Up All Night (the song) to be honest, which ballads would you recommend I listen to? I don't wanna go out and buy it as my Uni street cred has been spoiled somewhat this year when I was spotted leaving a Steps concert

Kimbra?

Oh I thought she was Aussie!

I like how Zim Zimma has Dance, Garage and Dubstep mixes, presumably cos no actual Dance, Garage or Dubstep DJs would remix it

There's lots of remixes. The ones on the EP are only the official remixes.

I wonder if We Are Young will be #53 next week.

I wish you would shut up sometimes.

Well, HARDLY. Mr sweeping statement.

The three I'd suggest are Taken (my favourite 1D song), More Than This and They Don't Know About Us, hopefully you'll like them a lot more!

And that's no excuse as to why you can't order them from HMV or something. ;)

Yeah Yeah for Yeah Yeah :yahoo:

This song was out in April, no?

Well, I heard it for the first time in April.

Yeah im sure it did, it charted in my personal chart in May!

Oh yes, Kimbra of course :P Last Kiwi to make the top 40 as a lead artist could well be Daniel Bedingfield though!
Big fallers this week... small clearout in the lower region.
Wow strange at such a big fall this week after steady for weeks, radio must have taken it off their playlists or something>?
