Heart Vacancy is brilliant, easily their best along with Glad You Came! Only two songs by them I would listen to out of choice these days to be honest but both really great!

I think I prefer the first version with more Nadine in, and also Nicola is belting the last chorus too.

 

I do really like this as I'm a sucker for a ballad and I LOVE Nicola's vocals, but the lack of Nadine the 'my baby' parts and the production worries me a bit.

 

 

its definitely a grower. i loooooove that nicola is the lead on the song. does remind me of her own song 'sticks and stones'

Ha! Seems like me and everyone else have switched places. I adore this (more than I like 'Something New'). I would have liked something more in the vein of Nicola's 'Yo Yo', but I'm still loving this. I definitely don't think it'll be the song they end their career on, so I think people are jumping the gun a little and getting panicked for no reason. Kimberley's sounding great in this!

I'm still not sold on this single yet, but I did have a dream last night and in my dream (it feels like we are forty stories tall) i was in a taxi and that was the song on the radio.

I am finding this a bit average actually. It's not bad of course (it IS Girls Aloud after all), but I am quite disappointed that this is a single as almost everything else they've released is much better (+ Something New is THE TITS.)

I was feeling rather disappointed at first, and I've never been a fan of their ballads anyway (not the ones released), but this has grown on me A LOT already. I'm gonna LOVE it during the Christmas period.

Now I've heard this a second time, that "mybabymybabymybaby" part in the chorus sticks out like a sore thumb and totally ruins it. I wish that was taken out.

Nicola and Kimba both stood out the best during that performance (especially Nicola - expected though considering she has the biggest part of the whole song :lol:) was a lovely performance overall though. Nice (but strange!) to see the other three get vocals instead of the usual Nadine/Cheryl takeover. I really hope this smashes for them.
