March 21, 201312 yr Sharon Osbourne returning would be awful imo. I find it weird how her stint on the show is being retrospectively romanticised. The show in her day might not have been seen as much of a "fix" as it is now, but I do remember the show had a real air of trashiness at that time (even people who liked it would mostly call it a "guilty pleasure"), and tbh Sharon was a big part of the reason for that. I don't think it's a coincidence that the show actually only started being taken seriously, and the ratings only went stratospheric, the second Sharon left, in 2008. Drafting her back in wouldn't solve anything. I really don't want Gary back either. My choices for new judges would be Mel B and Will Young -- the former because from what I've seen she manages to be bitchy in a pantomime-villain way (like "peak" Cowell, basically), and the latter because he could act as the Dannii Minogue-type judge with integrity. I guess Nicole and Louis could stay alongside them (although I'm not actually convinced Nicole is that good, it's just much easier to stand out when you're being compared to dullards like Gary and Tulisa). I just hope we don't get Rita Ora or an equivalent -- it really harms the show to have 20-somethings who are blatantly only there to further their own career.

March 21, 201312 yr I really don't know that I care anymore. The only reason I kept watching last year was because of Gary being on the panel and Olly and Caroline being on ITV2...and it's obvious none of them will be back this year so it's over as a show for me now. James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas are the only promising ones for me from last year, all the finalists who were actually good like Carolynne and Kye got voted out over keeping Rylan in (joke wore thin before judge's houses) and Union Zzzz and District3 (one One Direction is bad enough without two more). Time for it to be put to bed. I actually think last year's Britain's Got Talent offered more promising, interesting people like Loveable Rogues who actually do have some talent.

Barlow's just a really nasty man, and he thinks that by being nasty, it'll be to his advantage because it'll make for good television, but it isn't - it's just boring and yawn-worthy. If he has a fall out with a judge, he'll deliberately make nasty comments towards their acts, for the sake of getting back at them. I find that really unfair, TBH. :(
