April 22, 201312 yr If there's one thing a Sharon Osbourne argument is, it's not manufactured. I'm more concerned that we seem to be having BORELOW back again. I thought his general contempt for the show last series would see him off, alas that seems to be wishful thinking on my part.
May 21, 201312 yr Tulisa is officially OUT! http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s103/the-x-...-departure.html So something good has come out of today.
May 22, 201312 yr Been confirmed... Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger & Sharon Osbourne. http://xfactor.itv.com/2012/articles/x-fac...item_100289.htm
May 22, 201312 yr Oh no. :( I used to like Sharon, but I can tell that she's going to be unbearable this time. Then again, I only watch the auditions and last few live shows these days.
May 22, 201312 yr I actually think that my favourite judge is Nicole. I think she says it how it is, knows what to do for her contestants and is generally entertaining. The perfect judge in my opinion.
May 22, 201312 yr Sharon's return better cause fireworks, otherwise it'll be pointless. Loving that line up, though, minus Gary. :/
May 22, 201312 yr Honestly that line-up is THE WORST of all worlds. We have Sharon there to bring the trashy sub-Jeremy Kyle factor there to cause fake "fireworks" (is it really a coincidence that in the show's best years, 2008-10, the judges actually seemed to like eachother? same for the popular Britain's Got Talent panel atm), and we don't even get rid of killjoy Barlow to compensate. Starting to believe this might actually be the last series. Edited May 22, 201312 yr by Danny
May 22, 201312 yr I am truly disappointed that it is now confirmed that the horrible, cold, vindictive Sharon Osbourne is back, her return will simply ruin the show for me.
May 22, 201312 yr I do think that The X Factor is good for the music industry, with the acts from The X Factor having more success than ever before and the performances boosting certain songs. But yeah, I reckon after the next series, they're goners.
May 22, 201312 yr I love Sharon and Nicole. Louis is funny and probably will always be there. Gary is stale now.
May 22, 201312 yr So glad Mrs O is back :D Anyone know when the auditions are in Manchester? trying to google search and cant find anything

And Take That are recording their new album next year, which could mean the end of Gary Barlow. :D If the X Factor does get the chop, I wouldn't be surprised there will be a new talent show to fill the void, as the last quarter of the year generates more sales for the singles and album chart.

If they do axe XF after this year, I could see them maybe moving Britain's Got Talent to the autumn/winter (and spreading out the live shows over Saturdays) to fill its spot.
May 23, 201312 yr If they do axe XF after this year, I could see them maybe moving Britain's Got Talent to the autumn/winter (and spreading out the live shows over Saturdays) to fill its spot. The winner of BGT usually gets a spot on the Royal Variety Performance, not sure when that is on, I think its usually towards the end of November or early December. On a different note I heard this year's X Factor series, the auditions are back to basic, as in Season 1, they are not in front of an audience anymore, and the series is starting a month later than usual, so they must be screening the auditions over 2 days on TV (Sat & Sun). Not sure if that's still the case.
May 23, 201312 yr I long stopped bothering with this show but that panel doesn't excite me - Sharon Osborne is just a horrible person, and its so cringey how highly she thinks of herself as well. I don't really think viewers liked her that much, ratings just kept going higher in the series after she left no? They seem to be all about it the 'controversy' now, but I feel (as has already been stated) that if the judges generally got on the show flowed better and the focus was on the TALENT rather than the judges...
May 27, 201312 yr Can't believe Borelow is still there. Really hoped they'd get rid of him! Glad Sharon is back as her & Louis are hilarious together. So happy that they're bringing the room auditions back as well, that was the funniest part of XF as the judges would piss themselves behind their mug when someone terrible sings. To get the ratings back they need Simon back.. My perfect panel would be Simon, Cheryl, Rita Ora and Tinie Tempah.. I think the ratings would improve with that panel
